We were quoted around $40,000 for a Honda CR-V, and the quotation clearly showed 0.4 miles on the vehicle. Based on that information, my family and I put a lot of effort into traveling to the dealership. We had our kids with us, including their car seats, and had to arrange an Uber. The trip took approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes. What makes this even more frustrating is that my wife and I received more than 100 calls from the dealership, yet during all those conversations, nobody clearly informed us that the vehicle actually had 2,237 miles on it. The quotation we received clearly stated 0.4 miles. When we finally arrived at the dealership and saw the vehicle, we discovered the mileage was 2,237 miles, not 0.4 miles. If we had been told the actual mileage from the beginning, we would never have considered making the long trip to the dealership. Our understanding throughout the process was that we were discussing a new Honda CR-V. Once we arrived, however, we were told that they would not sell a new vehicle at the quoted price. This should have been communicated clearly before we spent so much time and money traveling there. The most disappointing part was how management handled the situation. After my family traveled for nearly two hours based on the information provided to us, I expected at least a sincere apology or some acknowledgment of the inconvenience. Instead, the manager barely spoke with us, and we did not even receive a meaningful “sorry” for what happened. This was not simply about the price. It was about accurate information, transparency, communication, and respect for a customer’s time. If the quotation had clearly stated 2,237 miles instead of 0.4 miles, we would have known what we were considering and could have made our decision without wasting an entire trip. My family left the dealership extremely frustrated and disappointed. This dealer redeemed itself. They no longer charge a service fee to pay using a credit card. I understand its under new ownership. Curry and the former owners of this place both convnced me I never needed to visit again. The frst shop actually lied to my face; the second made it perfectly clear the did not want my business. Imagine my shock coming in to this place now under Group 1 to find at least a service rep who seemed to care about the customer and (shock) was actually competent and honest. I sure hope that Andrew is representative of the rest of the place. If so, they've got my service business and a good shot at selling us the next Honda. Bravo, sir. Their auto shop staffs and technicians are criminals. They almost killed me and my family with their negligence. I went to change my car front bar stabilizer, 1. Just want to implore anyone who cares to visit stone mountain Honda Group 1. be vigilant and be sure you take a thorough look at your vehicle before leaving the place because noone is ready to be responsible for the careless act.
