Uber in, GTI out A little over 3 months ago another driver hit and totaled my MK6 GTI. Since then I've visited and contacted several Volkswagen dealerships trying to A little over 3 months ago another driver hit and totaled my MK6 GTI. Since then I've visited and contacted several Volkswagen dealerships trying to find a replacement for my GTI. Other dealerships could not honor what they promised or were just downright aggressive, pushy, and rude. Mohammad Al-Tamimi at Stone Mountain Volkswagen is amazing. From the time I initially contacted him until the time his dealership had my GTI in stock he was always respectful, courteous, helpful, and great to talk to. Buying my new GTI couldn't be any easier. I actually stopped searching as the specific GTI I wanted was not available at any other Volkswagen dealership in the greater Atlanta area. Once the car was in stock he promptly notified me. I went to purchase the vehicle on Memorial Day and I wasn't feeling the greatest as I had the flu . Mohammad put his personal touch on customer service; he made sure I had food, water, or anything else I needed to make me as comfortable as possible. He worked with the General Manager and told him all of my previous experiences with Volkswagen dealerships in the Atlanta area. In the end Mohammad was able to assist me in securing a great deal on my new GTI. Of all the Volkswagen dealerships I contacted, only Stone Mountain Volkswagen (Mohammad and Rick in financing) asked if I was okay from the car accident that totaled my previous GTI. Stone Mountain Volkswagen was the only dealership that cared about my well being. I definitely recommend Stone Mountain Volkswagen to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. All of the staff were great and couldn't make car buying an easier experience. When you're at Stone Mountain Volkswagen make sure you ask for Mohammad Al-Tamimi! More

Sales Dept. is good, but the Service Dept. is horrible I purchased a car for them in 2014. That experience was wonderful. However, the service dept. is horrible! They are not very friendly, but more import I purchased a car for them in 2014. That experience was wonderful. However, the service dept. is horrible! They are not very friendly, but more importantly, they are very incompetent. I recently brought my car in for its routine 30K service. Mysteriously, according to them, it developed a leak from the rear seal. That was a $1000 repair, but they said they would cover it under the warranty. They kept my cat overnight, and when I got it home, I noticed it was leaking. I return back to the dealership at 7:30 am, and met with the Service Dept. Mgr.No apology, no we are sorry, just we will call you later when it is fixed. They never called, and I actually had to call them, only to be told that the car would not be ready until the next day. I picked it up the next morning, only to get it home and find out it was STILL LEAKING!!, It had to be taken to a different dealer to be repaired properly. All of this for a repair that wasn't ever necessary. They simply were trying to make money by charging VW corporate for warranty repairs. They are total scam artists!! More

Mr. Mohammed Al-Tamimi was free to help me and I walke I didn't know I wanted a VW until I stopped in on a whim to see what the dealer had available. Mr. Mohammed Al-Tamimi was free to help me and I walked away with a gorgeous high-quality car for great value. He took the time to listen to me and understand my particular situation and needs. He did not try to oversell or pressure me into buying something outside my price point. Negotiations were fair and painless; done with respect and professionalism. He was knowledgeable about the brand and the vehicle. He was the exact opposite of the stereotypical car salesman and made the experience simple from start to finish. When it came time for paperwork, Rick had everything in order, explained the documents well, and answered all my questions. Overall, I feel that I got value for my money; both in the vehicle and the buying experience. More

Amazingly Awesome I have given the rating of 5 stars because I have never experienced a car purchase as nice and welcoming as this one. The workers were so nice and determined in finding the right car for my 16 year old, and making sure it was affordable for me. Someone even offered to ride all the way to my home in Augusta, Georgia so I could fill out some more paperwork. The visit was great , the conversation was lovely. After we were finished with the paperwork I thought he would be on his way, but he sat and chatted with my wife and I for a few minutes. He answered all of my questions as well. I love this dealership and I've already started recommending my friends and family . More

I understand that. But, it doesn't have to be stressful with stereotypical bait and switch or pressure related tactics. It can and should be like any respectable business; fair, transparent, maybe even pleasant(getting a new car is fun). That's what I found at Stone Mountain Volkswagen. They matched another dealers offer, expedited the process over the phone for me, and I never felt like Al-Tamimi was trying to "sale me". I felt like they were simply trying to help me get the car I wanted and run their business in a respectful and professional manner. I'm very pleased with the whole experience. Thank you. More
