Carlos Miranda was the sales person we talked with and he exceeded all of our expectations. As former Volkswagen owners, we were glad to support the Volkswagen brand once again. We live outside of the Metro Atlanta area and we had been searching for a vehicle like the one we purchased. We researched for a particular vehicle online, and Stone Mountain Volkswagen had the vehicle we wanted. We had a great experience when we purchased our first Volkswagen from Stone Mountain Volkswagen (Dwight Harrison Volkswagen) in 2003, so we didn’t hesitate to return and test drive the vehicle. Carlos was extremely professional and cordial, and he answered all of our questions. Even though we didn’t make a purchase on the same day that we took the vehicle on a test drive, Carlos was available to answer all of our additional questions via phone/text/email. After a week had passed, we finally made the decision to make a purchase. We called Carlos and asked if the vehicle was still available.....and it was still available. We came back to Stone Mountain Volkswagen and the purchase experience was wonderful. Some of the same people who worked at the dealership when we purchased our first Volkswagen are still employed there, and for us it was a reunion of sorts. We are pleased and happy with our 2018 Volkswagen GLI and it is absolutely fun to drive. The price of our vehicle was on target and we couldn’t bypass this opportunity. Best New car experience ever! I'd been considering trading in my 3 year old sports car on a new GTI for several months and got serious about it last week. I quickly became frustrat I'd been considering trading in my 3 year old sports car on a new GTI for several months and got serious about it last week. I quickly became frustrated with what seemed like games being played at my local dealer in Athens and decided to reach out to VW of Stone Mountain. I called at 1:00 PM, made the 1 hour drive, and drove back home just a few hours later in my brand new black beauty. From the moment I arrived, every interaction I had was stellar. I actually HATE the new car buying experience, and would order from Amazon if they sold them. It was a rainy day, and Irnes quickly adapted himself to mine and my partner's preference or cutting to the chase, making a deal, and driving home in my new GTI. Irnes new his product intimately, and he also picked up on the cues I gave him that I knew just what I wanted, didn't need to test drive, and just wanted to trade, buy and go. He would do equally well with an uncertain customer who needed to spend the day deciding. Having owned more than 20 new cars, this was by far the best experience I've ever had in buying one. Assuming I am still loving the brand as much as I do right now, I will be excited in 2 years to go and visit Irnes at Stone Mountain again for my next purchase.
