Buyer Beware — In my opinion, Stonebriar Chevrolet uses bait-and-switch Tactics. Before visiting Stonebriar Chevrolet, I confirmed their Chevy Colorado lease online(Their website) and through email/text bait-and-switch Tactics. Before visiting Stonebriar Chevrolet, I confirmed their Chevy Colorado lease online(Their website) and through email/text. I understood there were about $2,000 in dealer adds, which still matched their website lease calculator showing around $385/month — and I was fine with that. However, once I got to the showroom, they added other undisclosed charges, and suddenly the payment jumped to $450/month, and they absolutely refused to honor the $385 payment they were advertising. The salesman Anthony could not even explain to me why...Just “that’s the price.” To make sure this wasn’t unrealistic, I went to Classic Chevrolet in Grapevine, where the truck was identical — it also had just under $2,000 in dealer adds, and the MSRP was only about $900 lower than Stonebriar’s truck. So it was as close to apples-to-apples as it gets. Classic Chevrolet honored the advertised GM programs, didn’t play games, and my payment ended up being under $300/month on the same Colorado that Stonebriar wanted $450/month. Same brand. Same truck. Similar MSRP. Same incentives. Wildly different honesty levels. In my experience, Stonebriar Chevrolet was a complete waste of time, and what I experienced felt like textbook bait-and-switch. I ended up purchasing the vehicle under false pretenses. When I signed the initial offer, I clearly stated in writing that I did not agree to any optional add-ons. However, when I went into finance and signed the final paperwork, an additional warranty had been added to the price without my consent. This was presented after I signed the financing. This place has the worst service department that I have ever encountered in 60+ years.
