In my opinion, this is the most dishonest and underhanded dealership I have ever dealt with. We spent a week going back and forth in negotiations on a particular vehicle and experienced multiple "bait and sw dealership I have ever dealt with. We spent a week going back and forth in negotiations on a particular vehicle and experienced multiple "bait and switch" tactics. The salesperson asked me via text to meet him halfway on the price just to get me to come in. And when I did, he did not honor that and instead, started our negotiations at the full listed price. Going forward, all I heard from him was, "let me ask my manager". Carson, who represented himself as the "Manager" was only an assistant sales manager with no authority to honor the promise he made to me. He told me that he would work with me on the price if we agreed to finance through them. I told them that we could get a 5.75% interest rate with our credit union and he said they could easily match it and likely beat it. So, of course we agreed, and I came back in with my husband to make the deal. When my husband and I went back in, we were given a final offer sheet showing 8.99% interest rate (we have over 800 credit score and my husband is an executive in the finance industry, so that was not the issue.). Jean and Carson both admitted they have no control over interest rates, that the finance department handles that. I said, no problem we'll just finance with our credit union as originally planned. Then they told me the price would go back up if we did that. I could go on and on about the other inconsistencies, but I'll save that for our letter to Chevrolet Corporate. Please do not do business with this dealership. They are underhanded, at best. We even tried emailing the manager, Julian Trujillo, with our concerns at the beginning of this process and that email went unanswered. I have never experienced such terrible customer service. The only reason we even continued to try and deal with them was because they had the particular vehicle we wanted in the colors we wanted, with no others available anywhere near us. Finally, we walked out for the second time when they refused to honor anything that was previously promised. Carson called us less than 5 minutes later to offer the deal we wanted... so my husband asked him to send in writing via email, which had incorrect terms that my husband pointed out. We accepted the revised deal later that evening via email. The next morning, they claimed the vehicle was sold just minutes after we left. They certainly have no interest in having a good reputation or customer retention. I will make it my business to tell anyone who listens, never to do business with Stonebriar Chevrolet. More
We are a non profit who helps first responders and their families. We purchased a pre owned vehicle from Stonebriar Chevrolet for a nurse that was in need of a vehicle. The dealership and Management a their families. We purchased a pre owned vehicle from Stonebriar Chevrolet for a nurse that was in need of a vehicle. The dealership and Management assured is that this vehicle was 100% solid with no issues. They (Freddy and Carson), misrepresented the condition of the vehicle sold to my client and treated us like garbage. A week after she took possession of the vehicle we purchaed for her, it broke down from several issues. To date... It has cost her $7,000 in repairs. After three weeks of leaving messages Ray, the pre owned director said they would fix the issue because it was something that they had previously worked on and supposedly reparied less than 30 days in their service department... then changed his mind. Alfredo or "Freddy" cursed me and my client over the phone. I'm not sure how you want to be treated, but dealing with this dealership was horrible. We were lied to, taken advantage of, cursed at, belittled, and conned. And in the end they robbed a front line First Responder. Someone that serves the public selflessly every single day. All we were asking is that they repair the issue that they had supposedly already fixed... nothing more. More
***NEVER AGAIN! !! Purchased a brand new EV Blazer from them that after 8 days turned out to not be able to charge, needing a part that was on backorder with NO ETA. !! Purchased a brand new EV Blazer from them that after 8 days turned out to not be able to charge, needing a part that was on backorder with NO ETA. This place has so many cars needing repair that to get a loaner, you have to be put on a 2 week waiting list. And if you finally do get the loaner, if repair takes longer than 10 days guess what, they'll be blowing up your phone for you to bring back their loaner so they can put you in the cheapest rental car they can get away with. I should have trusted the sign of when we first test drove a different EV Blazer they had and the bottom fell open while driving causing sparks all down the road. But silly me went back the next day and got one anyway, and now I've made two car payments on a car that the service dept has had longer than I have. And the fact that the manager nor Gabriel the salesman would call me back is just disgusting. Just a sickening experience, being treated like I'm the villain, when all I did was purchase the vehicle. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME; ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE TEMPTED BY LOW PRICE; I FELT COMPLETELY SCREWED OVER AFTER PRICE OF $14,950 CAR INCREASED 20.0% FOR "DEALERSHIP ADDED ACCESSORIES" and "RECONDITIONING FEES." GR LOW PRICE; I FELT COMPLETELY SCREWED OVER AFTER PRICE OF $14,950 CAR INCREASED 20.0% FOR "DEALERSHIP ADDED ACCESSORIES" and "RECONDITIONING FEES." GRAND TOTAL WAS $19,598?! THE DECEPTIVE BAIT & SWITCH PRICE I EXPERIENCED MAY BE USED WITH OTHER CARS, SO BE SURE TO CHECK PRICE *BEFORE* VISITING STONEBRIAR CHEVROLET! In my opinion, the salesperson I dealt with, Layla Lazarine, used deceptive and misleading business practices that make AVERAGE CAR SALES PEOPLE look like BOY SCOUTS. Don't walk, RUN AWAY from this place!! Better yet, save yourself from wasting your time and don't bother doing business with them to begin with! Check out photos that show they listed on the price on CARFAX website as $14,950 and then used, in my opinion, a dishonest price increase to $17,945 for "Dealer Added Accessories" and "Reconditioning" fees and grand total of $19,598 after *more* fees and taxes! (see attached pics) Note these "accessories" were shown in pictures as part of the listing, so I feel it's reasonable to assume the $14,950 listing price included these features. It's almost like showing a picture of a vehicle, then charging more at the last minute for the new tires mentioned in the description and the chrome wheels they showed in the pictures! What?! Just be transparent and list the car at $17,945! Here's a link showing Layla, the salesperson, talk about making the car buying process "simple and stress free" - see the third photo. Increasing the price 20.0% was not stress free - in fact, it made shopping for a car *more* complicated and stressful to me.
