Why did I come tom Stoops......because I have watched several of my friends receive great service while I never got any from my dealership!!! Their cars were so well cared for and always were happy. I n several of my friends receive great service while I never got any from my dealership!!! Their cars were so well cared for and always were happy. I never even got a postcard from my dealership. So I said to myself, "Self, let's get over to Stoops." I'm so glad that I did. I was treated so well, courteously. I'm so glad that I made the choice to change car brands and dealerships. "Vive la defference!!" More
I purchased a 01 Jeep Wranger in July that has been in the Service Shop 3 times twice for the same thing. I know the jeep has internal problems when I have antifreeze coming out of the tail pipe, manchan the Service Shop 3 times twice for the same thing. I know the jeep has internal problems when I have antifreeze coming out of the tail pipe, manchanic I'm not but oboviously they aren't either. The jeep one in once for AC and brakes which the service department did with no problems and did a good job. Here WE Go..... Less than a week later we kept smelling antifreeze real bad and the jeep always smelled like it was going to over heat. It was dripping antifreeze in my driverway. Trip #2 the jeep was returned all they did was tighten the hoses using the same parts lying telling me they replaced the hoses and clamps. Oh they did replace the raditor cap, sent me out the door. When I got home I had antifreeze coming out of the tailpipe of my Jeep, Really they called that problem fixed... OMG I was so mad..... It when back Monday morning Trip#3 all say they did was power spray the engine and do a 20 minute compression check. Well problem is still there even after the Service Manager was brought out to be shown that the engine was NOT power sprayed. U cant power spray an engine when it has green antifreeze on the air cleaner and the raditor is full with orange anti freeze ( her comment was oh that sets my mind at ease) really!!!) OK.. Whatever... Oh she did offer to ride with on a drive what did that have to do with the antifreeze leak? So I guess I just let the Attorney General Office help me know... Thank god for Lemon Law..... We purchased our 2012 GMC Terrain from Stoops. After looking at Andy Mohr in Plainfield and being very disappointed with their impersonal service, it was so refreshing to go into Stoops. I dealt with J looking at Andy Mohr in Plainfield and being very disappointed with their impersonal service, it was so refreshing to go into Stoops. I dealt with Joe Manderino, who was very professional and helpful. I actually used to live across the street from Joe, but had forgot that he worked at Stoops until I came into the dealership. Even though we did already know each other I'm positive he treats all of his customers with the same level of respect he did with my wife and I, just a really nice guy. Twenty minutes into being there the general manager and part owner (Jim Meyers) introduced himself and welcomed me, that's not something you typically expect at a car dealership, but I'm pretty sure it's his intimate involvement that helps create such a great atmosphere. Every employee I dealt with was honest and professional. There was never any pressure or dishonesty like you get at a lot of car dealerships. The price on the new SUV was fair, and while we didn't get quite as much as we wanted out of the 2010 F150 CrewCab we traded in, they did actually give us a little more than we paid for it ($27K) 5 months earlier at another dealer, although that price was prior to me installing accessories, so we did lose a tiny bit on it. I hated trading the F150 in, but we needed something more practical with our family expanding. As honest as Stoops is, I'm sure they'll sell it with just a little markup over what they gave us for it. There really is something to be said for people who treat you with respect, have great personal service and don't play games. Jim Meyers really runs a classy operation here and you don't find many car dealerships like that. You can bet we will be back for service on the Terrain (which we love by the way) and when it comes time for us to buy another vehicle, Stoops will be the first place we look! More

I found the Ford F150 I purchased from Stoops Buick GMC online through Cars.com on Friday. I contacted Dan Cope on Friday morning and went to look at it Friday evening. They let me drive the truck home t online through Cars.com on Friday. I contacted Dan Cope on Friday morning and went to look at it Friday evening. They let me drive the truck home to evaluate it that evening and Saturday morning I went back and made the deal. I felt I was able to make a very good deal for the truck after my trade-in which is rare. One of the friendliest dealerships I have worked with. They also took care of the issues I had with the truck in their service department, very customer service oriented. If you are looking for a dealership to purchase your next new or used vehicle, you shouldn't hesitate to stop by Stoops Buick GMC in Plainfield. They will treat you right. More

Chuck Sechrest was extremely professional and helpful, as wall all other employees that I was introduced to in my experience of purchasing my vehicle. I could not be happier w/ my Acadia, and highly recommend this dealer. More
