He and the support staff were always prompt in returning phone calls, answering questions and seeking to find the car I wanted versus selling me the car they thought I should buy. It was such a pleasure working with the Street Toyota Sales Team again. This is the fifth vehicle we have purchased from Street in the past 11 years. The salesman greeted me at the door and showed me to Sales Team again. This is the fifth vehicle we have purchased from Street in the past 11 years. The salesman greeted me at the door and showed me to his desk where we went over all the facts and figures. We traded a Rav 4 for a Prius this time and we got a really good deal. The paper work was not burdensome and I was out of the dealership in record time. We are enjoying our new Prius and have been getting excellent gas mileage, as advertised. I was given the oppor June 8, 2011 Mr. Joe Street, I want to express my sincerest appreciation to Street Toyota as well as Ben & Gayla Callaway. I was given the opportunity to allow them to EARN my business. My initial contact with your dealership came thru the service dept. I have recently been re-located to Amarillo by my corporation. My 2009 Camry was due for its 25K check up. After setting up a 9:00 AM appointment for service on Tuesday, I asked to be transferred to the finance manager. I was connected to Hamid Jolali. I explained to him that I was not interested in talking to a rookie sales person. I wanted to discuss lease options. I expressed to him that I am in the manufactured & modular housing industry. My responsibilities include sales as well as finance. My homes sell from 40K to 200K. I know how delicate the balance is when you’re dealing with a potential new home owner buying a product as high end as we build, as well as the uncertainty which accommodates their concerns for trust and truthfulness. Hamid understood exactly what my issues were. His quote was, “I have the perfect sales professional who will assist you”. I will introduce you to Ben Callaway when you arrive. When I arrived at you service dept. I was promptly greeted with a smile and a hand shake by Jay. He already had my service ticket written up. Next I asked him to introduce me to Hamid. He escorted me personally to his office, where I was professionally greeted again. Within minutes I was introduced to Ben. Again, a handshake and a smile as soon as we were introduced! I don’t think Ben knew exactly what he may be getting into when dealing with this “Crazy Italian”. Our leasing process took from 9:00 am till 2:30 pm., before we could come to an agreement on price, payment, and choice of vehicle. Ben worked creatively and diligently throughout the entire buying process. Most importantly, Ben earned my RESPECT and TRUST. Throughout this entire process, Ben was multi-tasking with other potential customers. During this time I was introduced to and periodically chatted a lot with Gayla, who made me feel like we had been friends for years. As part of “Earning my Business”, I also requested that I have Michelin Tires installed on my new Camry SE. Without a blink, Ben & I shook hands and the deal was consummated! Jamie VanDeSpyker finished the leasing paperwork. While I was waiting for my tires to be installed, I was greeted (I can’t count the times) by your concierges, and who knows how many other people. Before my vehicle was delivered to your customer service bay, Gayla explained the service manual to me. Next, she escorted me thru the whole store and I was introduced to all the department heads. This is the most Ethical, Professionally operated dealership I have ever been associated with!!! My total buying experience was absolutely WONDERFUL to say the least. I was in your dealership until 5:30 pm. At which time Ben & Gayla assisted my in changing out my inventory from one vehicle to another. We gave each other handshakes & hugs prior to me leaving the dealership. In Conclusion: My “Purchasing Experience” thru Street Toyota was The GREATEST PURCHASING EXPERIENCE I have had in years. I will HIGHLY RECOMMEND Street Toyota as well as Ben & Gayla Callaway to any future friends and acquaintances’ who would be interested in purchasing a new or pre-owned vehicle!!! Since purchasing my 2008 Tundra I have loved the Toyota pickup. This is what drove me to purchase the 2011. Additionally, I have a great deal of respect for my sales rep. I was looking for a new (to me) vehicle. My husband and I looked at what seemed like every lot in town. I had an idea of what I wanted and really never even found anything I wanted to test drive until we got looked at what seemed like every lot in town. His name is Blair Smith. He was so friendly and outgoing. Told him we had been everywhere looking at cars. He asked what I was looking for and by now, I didn't have a clue. I saw the FJ Cruiser and was in love. He went with us to test drive one and I wanted it so bad. He was very knowlegable about the FJ CRuiser. You could just tell he loved where he was working and believed in it. I needed to think about it because I wanted to make sure that was really what I wanted because it didn't have all the bells and whistles on it that I thought I wanted. He gave us his card and we left the lot and went home to talk about it. It didn't take long to realize that I really wanted it bad.After calling Blair, we brought my trade in with us and went in to do the all time consuming paperwork. The part of buying a new car I dread the most. I had already secured financing through my bank but Blair suggested I try to get a better deal through Toyota. I hesitated but decided to try. He was right, I got a fantastic interest rate. Blair and everyone there made the process painless. Everyone was friendly and professional. I watched as other costomers were helped and was impressed with how they were treated as well. I will definately do business there again. My dad has always driven a Toyota and also speaks highly of everyone there. I couldn't wait to call him and tell him I finally had a Toyota!! So I called Marshall...and sure enough, he helped me AND even offered to come out to help me! Marshall typlifies the personnel who have worked on my car, helped me out in a "pinch" or just responded to my questions. I will buy my next care from Marshall....I just don't know when! More
