I recently brought my 2017 Silverado to Strosnider Chevrolet for electrical issues and had a very disappointing experience. I was told throughout the week that diagnostics were being performed, but my Chevrolet for electrical issues and had a very disappointing experience. I was told throughout the week that diagnostics were being performed, but my dash camera footage showed that the truck was never entered, moved, or touched while it sat on their lot. Despite that, I received a call stating that my steering gear was bad and that the repair would cost nearly $2,900. The diagnosis didn’t match the symptoms I was experiencing, so I checked the truck myself. It was completely dead from sitting all week. I replaced the alternator in their parking lot, and the truck immediately ran perfectly with no steering or electrical issues. I also reached out to the General Manager, who said he would follow up with me, but I never received the promised call. The communication I received did not match what actually happened, and the misalignment between updates and the reality shown on the dash camera was extremely frustrating. I hope the dealership reviews their diagnostic process and communication practices so future customers don’t have this experience. More
