Bad News - A horrendous buying experience! We gave Subaru of Loveland one star because ZERO stars was not an option. If you want to be talked down to, go to Subaru of Loveland. If you want your trade stolen from you, go to Subaru of Loveland. We really wanted to purchase a vehicle close to home so that servicing was convenient. Subaru of Loveland provided a dreadful experience and we will never set foot on their lot again. We are informed buyers knowing what we wanted and what our trade was realistically worth. They had the vehicle we wanted on the lot. After waiting a half hour, we were told the keys had been tucked away because it was sold. Again, it was still on the lot with no indication that it was not available for sale. This was the only like model on the lot. Then, we inquired about a used model that was sitting next to the building. Apparently, it appeared out of thin air because it took another half hour to find out that something was wrong with it and it was going to auction. They did offer to find a model we wanted and to trade one of theirs to another dealership. We agreed to have our trade appraised. It took a reasonable amount of time to take our trade to their "sister" dealership for appraisal. They returned with a very LOW BALL offer for our trade. Their offer was 36% lower than book at the trade in level and 50% of retail value. After challenging their value, they agreed to come up $500 with the additional comment from the salesman (Rich) that sometimes he had to be the "bearer of bad news". We left the Subaru of Loveland dealership and drove to Dellenbach in Ft. Collins. What a difference in professionalism, knowledge and fairness. It is interesting that while my trade was being appraised in Ft. Collins, I received a call from Rich at Subaru of Loveland. I did not answer the call but he left a message that he had spoken to his General Sales Manager and that he had agreed to increase their offer on my trade "site unseen". What? They spent thirty minutes appraising it the first time. Their new offer resulted in an increase of 20% from their last offer and 28.5% from their first offer. Not that it mattered as I was never going back to Subaru of Loveland, but the initial offer from Dellenbach was still higher than the newly approved offer from Subaru of Loveland. We did not get everything we wanted At Dellenbach , but we did get treated with respect, fairness and we were never talked down to. We received a fair offer on our trade the first time. Thank you Trent, Pat, Mike and the rest at Dellenbach for being honest and fair. Rich was right, sometimes you have to be the bearer of bad news. More
First time I've bought a new car and didn't feel like I 'd been taken somewhere along the process. Paul was easy to negotiate with and Steve showed me all the functions of the new Finance and service staff very nice also. Paperwork done in less than 30 minutes. Nice large clean dealership. Beautiful golden retriever wanders around the lobby. Had 2 dealerships much closer, but do not regret the longer drive I will have for service. More
Subaru of Loveland is by far the best dealership I have ever dealt with. They are very friendly and most important they do not hound you to buy a car. They took time and made sure I learned and understood the navigation system and all about my new car. I suggest you go to this dealership before going to any others just to experience a very customer friendly. More
I have purchased enough new cars in my time to know a difference in quality service from a car dealer. These guys are professionals in their knowledge of the product and I never felt pressured in any way difference in quality service from a car dealer. I purchased a 2012 Outback 2.5i Limited from them. If the car holds up to the Subaru reputation, I will only go here for another. More
