I was visiting Pennsylvania and was on my way home to South Carolina. The car is a 2025 and had approximately 12,000 miles on it. More
Everyone was very professional, and the work was done in a timely manner. I especially appreciated the video showing how they checked the undercarriage of my vehicle. I brought my car in for a state inspection and was told before even walking in that it would fail due to dry rot on the tires (12 month old tires) by the guy that checks you in, I disagreed and a tech came before even walking in that it would fail due to dry rot on the tires (12 month old tires) by the guy that checks you in, I disagreed and a tech came out to look and said that the tires were fine. During my inspection, a license plate bulb was found to be out (was out, I was made aware previously and had not changed it yet) and the tech also said they found an oil leak. They said the oil leak was from a gasket needing to be resealed and that the entire engine would need to come out and cost just under $4000 for the work. I previously was told at a mechanic shop that when I had my oil changed last, the oil plug was broken and replaced by an oil plug that was too small and that it was leaking slowly. When I asked if they were sure it wasn't just that, I was told absolutely not and that the entire engine needed to be resealed. I went back to the mechanic shop and they changed out the oil plug and did the state inspection and my car passed. I do not appreciate the relay of inaccurate information, especially for something that was no where near as severe as I was told. More
