For starters: Don't say things to customers that aren't true. You want to make things right then: 1) Don't lead people be believe your used car inspection process will catch any issues a car might have. Evidence: We bought a car from you, and the first minute I drove it off the lot it demonstrated a MAJOR issue by stalling/shutting off. 2) Don't tell people your extended warranty covers "everything but the technology". It doesn't. It ONLY covers mechanical issues, NOTHING electronic at all. That comes straight from Fidelity, BTW. Your sales person led us to believe the only things it didn't cover where things like the radio and power windows. 3) When things go bad, make it right. It'd be one thing if I drove off and 3 months later the car broke. It literally broke leaving your parking lot. And when you determined what the issue was, instead of offering to just fix it you tried to stick us with a $2500 bill. 4) Don't raise your voice with a customer, especially when they have a right to be mad. I didn't curse at your GM/SM/whatever-he-actually-is. I didn't call him names. I raised my voice because I had just dropped over $12k on a car and a warranty only to be told that an issue that happened right off the bat wasn't covered and would cost $3000. That's insane, and I think I had every right to be mad. Your guy didn't make things any better by yelling "If you let me finish" to me over the phone. Sorry, raise your voice and I will hang up on you. I don't care who you are. As far as I am concerned, your dealership owes me for the repairs I had to pay out of my own pocket that your people failed to diagnose and refused to cover despite the circumstances. You want to "strive for excellence" and "take my review seriously" start by writing me a check for the repairs. Bottom line, you want to "take my review seriously", then empower your people to stop making customers feel like they are being taken advantage of. There is a reason people hate car salesmen, and my interaction with your's has only served to strengthen that stereotype. The sad part is that my wife is VERY serious about buying a Subaru for her next car, and we even told your guys this and that our experience with this car for my son would determine if we would use your dealership in the future. Based on this transaction I wouldn't recommend anyone to go to your dealership even if you offered them some AMAZING deal. You don't stand by your product, you don't do what you say you do, and you leave your customers in a lurch when your people made mistakes.
