Unfortunately, the free car wash after the service is finished is not well done. The previous visit, I asked them to redo the wash and was met with a scowl from the manager of that team. It was done over and Still not done well. The visit a couple weeks ago, the same poor wash job. I just decided to go on home and gave up thinking that was something the service department didn’t want to do at a 5 star level. More
Money hungry idiots I was having battery issues, went to have it replaced by them. They claimed it was fine and then charged me for an electrical system test which yielde I was having battery issues, went to have it replaced by them. They claimed it was fine and then charged me for an electrical system test which yielded no result. They told me the car was fine and then it barely started when leaving the dealership. They said it was fine. The car broke the next day. After coming back and replacing the battery they tell me to replace my brakes and tires. They said it had 5k miles left. The next day the sidewall shattered. I learned the hard way that I had locking lug nuts and I was never given the key. I was unable to have my car towed because their road side assistance only goes to Lokey and within 19 miles which they were 26 miles away. I had to go to another Subaru dealer close by and was scammed by their ridiculous tire prices. The same tires quoted as $648 ended up costing me $864. This company is trash. More
12000 mile service The regular service was quick so I wasn’t hanging around for ever. I also like your dealership because you gave me a super deal. The regular service was quick so I wasn’t hanging around for ever. I also like your dealership because you gave me a super deal. More

Kayla and the service staff w We were traveling from Ohio to my brother-in-law in Florida when our brakes gave out. My brother-in-law recommended you. Kayla and the service staff were able to have our brakes checked and repaired within the day on a holiday weekend. (July 5) Impressive. The cost was very reasonable. The entire staff was courteous and professional. And the brakes past the test of I-75 traffic back to Ohio. More

You need to regroup on Saturday appointments I tried for a Saturday appointment I had made for 8am. I work m-f and am 1 hour away. When I arrived there were 8-10 cars or more there. 4 of us had 8am appointments. Your policy is evidently to fit people in. Well the 8 am people that had appointments (4), were tossed aside for the people to be serviced as they had pulled in. That is unacceptable. Then I hear you bring in lunch on Saturdays, so every person over 70 was there on a Saturday. Really?!?! You can’t do that during the week? Completely ridiculous. I won’t buy another Subaru if you are the people I have to deal with. If I make an appointment, I expect you to honor my appointment. I could care less who pulled in first. More

When I got in, I had a burnt out tail light and a head light also, so after the inspection, as per the document provided, "all lights were working properly", hence nothing was done. The exact same thing happened when I purchased the car, got charged almost $1000 (one thousand dollars) for "reconditioning" and the car was FILTHY, the oil was not charged, one head light was burned out and the back cover was never replaced, so really I got charged for services never received or performed. Last time (07/2019) I was there for the oil change, the person was very nice, but still I payed almost $1,000 for nothing. So, no, I am unable to recommend Subaru of Port Richey to anyone. More
Problem actaully fixed!! I came in because of an electrical issue with a 2010 GMC Canyon - the high mount brake light (3rd brake light) and cargo light was not working. If yo I came in because of an electrical issue with a 2010 GMC Canyon - the high mount brake light (3rd brake light) and cargo light was not working. If you pushed on the brakes, nothing happened, but if you turned on the cargo lights, all 4 bulbs (both cargo lights and both brake lights) would light up. The regular brake lights worked correctly, without issue. I had already tested the light element and the issue seemed to be in the wiring harness that runs from the front of the truck to the element. Previous attempts by others indicated that the element was at fault, however even after replacement the problem still existed. I had purchased the truck used from Subaru of Port Richey, so I wanted to give them a shot at finding the problem. After EXTENSIVE searching and testing, they found that the issue was a ground wire that broken. The fix was to simply re-ground the wire and it works perfectly. Of all of the miles and miles of wiring on that truck, they were able to isolate it down to the ACTUAL problem and correct it. It was a ground wire that goes through the firewall and connects to a harness under the hood, almost invisible unless you know to look for it. It is not a temporary fix, or some attempt to re-wire the light or harness, it was a PERMANENT solution to the ACTUAL problem. As a side note, the truck was also acting strangely in other areas that seemed to be unrelated such as the TPMS sensors showing low air when the tires are fine or the warning for the gas cap not on correctly, but they only popped up intermittently. Those have also stopped, and the truck is in perfect condition. It's amazing the problems one little ground wire can cause. Subaru of Port Richey was able to find the problem when no one else could!!
