Went for an oil change. I was in a hurry, and approached the second service advisor who said he had to train a new employee….clearly more important than a helping a customer! To boot, they said they rotated tires, but i found air pressure low in all tires (after picking up the car)! Had to go to a gas station to fill air in all my tires. Clearly below mediocre service and poor service advisors. Hey, can u train them to not wear scowl on their faces at 8am….maybe they need a new job ?? If this happens again (every one deserves a second chance)… it will be sayonara to this dealership…. More
My wife dropped off her Forester Monday night for routine servicing and a state inspection. We specifically told the technician that we did not want the tires rotated because we just had them done at Costco. servicing and a state inspection. The next day when we returned to pick up the car, there was a $53 dollar charge for tire rotation. We complained and they took the charge off but now we need to go back to Costco and have them rotate the tires back the way they were. The service tech who checked the car in was present during our discussion with another tech and never said a word about the tire rotation issue. We buy our tires at Costco because they offer free tire rotation for the life of the tires instead of charging $53 for this service. The most ridiculous thing is that in order to check the brakes for the state safety inspection they have to take the tires off anyway. So why would there even be a charge to rotate tires? More

Recently traveled from NC home to visit friend in Leesburg. During visit my Subaru begun to smoke under the hood. Fortunately found Stohlman near by. Arrived at service department at 3pm on Friday wi Leesburg. During visit my Subaru begun to smoke under the hood. Fortunately found Stohlman near by. Arrived at service department at 3pm on Friday with of course no appointment. They quickly diagnosed the problem and said car would be ready the next day. My experience with the Stohlman Subaru service department was disappointing. I scheduled a visit to diagnose a broken windshield and mentioned needing a rental car due to safety concerns. Upon arrival, I was was disappointing. I scheduled a visit to diagnose a broken windshield and mentioned needing a rental car due to safety concerns. Upon arrival, I was informed of a $300 deposit requirement for the rental, which was unexpected as it wasn't previously communicated. Despite my vehicle purchase including rental privileges, they insisted on a credit card payment, which I didn't have. Improved communication regarding policies would prevent such inconveniences and address customer safety concerns more effectively. More
