purchased a $12000 car, less than 3 wks later brakes were grinding terribly, was out of state, brought it to a garage, needed all 4 brake pads and 2 rotors replaced. Contacted subaru of utica w/no response, grinding terribly, was out of state, brought it to a garage, needed all 4 brake pads and 2 rotors replaced. Contacted subaru of utica w/no response, finally received a message asking me to send them the invoice, i did, no response again, made multiple calls/messages, finally spoke to roberto ortiz who said he'd look into it and get back to me. He did not. Several more calls/messages later i spoke to him and his response was basically "oh well", said theres nothing he can do because it passed their inspection, said there was "no way" it needed new pads/rotors, like i would shell out over $800 for no reason!!?? Was very rude and of no help at all. They were extremely responsive and helpful PRIOR to me buying the car, once they made the sale their customer service was abysmal at best. Would most definately NOT recommend them to anyone! More
