Root canals, the flu, being hit in the face with a snowball, and visiting a car dealer. To me, all are equally unpleasant experiences to be avoided at all costs. Recently though, I came into the market for a used car. After visiting a few other dealerships looking at various models that I was interested in, I quickly remembered why I dread going to car dealerships so much. The same tired tactics to make the quick "hard sell" and pressure to buy a vehicle at an inflated price were quick reminders of this. However, after dealing with Bob Morris at Somerset Buick GMC, my faith in the integrity of car salesmen has been restored. Not only was he very pleasant and reasonable to deal with, but he was genuinely concerned that I liked the car after my test drive before talking about a deal. Prompt, attentive, courteous, and honest are all attributes that describe my experience with Bob, and these attributes are the reason why I would highly recommend him if you're in the market for a used car. Overall, I came away satisfied that I got a good deal on a car that I really like, and it was well worth the 140 mile round trip to complete my purchase. More

Little things matter. I just went to this dealership for a part for my Pontiac. I showed the parts guy the part I needed an asked for two of them. Then I paid for them. When I went down to pick up the pa a part for my Pontiac. I showed the parts guy the part I needed an asked for two of them. Then I paid for them. When I went down to pick up the parts, they had the wrong quantity (1) and the wrong part. Okay, mistakes happpen. But no apology was forthcoming either for the mistake or the waste of my time. Won't go again. More
