Declining Service Quality - Very Disappointing Experience (1 Star) I purchased a Toyota RAV4 from Suburban Troy and paid an additional $1,000 for lifetime oil change service. Initially, the Ann Arbor locati (1 Star) I purchased a Toyota RAV4 from Suburban Troy and paid an additional $1,000 for lifetime oil change service. Initially, the Ann Arbor location provided excellent service with quick oil changes completed in under an hour, complimentary tire rotation and wheel alignment, and professional staff. The service quality has dramatically declined over recent months. Wait times have increased from under an hour to a minimum of two hours, often with my 1-year-old daughter waiting alongside me while other customers are served and leave. When scheduling appointments, staff provide inconsistent information. One representative told me they "don't service Toyota, only Chevrolet," while another questioned why I returned for service, asking "didn't you do it last month?" as if I shouldn't follow recommended mileage intervals. Yesterday's experience was unacceptable. When I called to schedule my 3:30 PM appointment, the representative put me on hold to check if they had my filter in stock, then confirmed they did and scheduled the appointment. After waiting 2.5 hours, Nick informed me at 6:15 PM that they didn't actually have the filter and were waiting for a delivery. When I mentioned my phone conversation, Nick claimed that representative "wasn't there yesterday and didn't know about the filter." This makes no sense - if they didn't have the part, they should have checked immediately upon my arrival and either ordered it or rescheduled my appointment, not let me wait for hours. I finally left at 6:50 PM after they completed the oil change. Additional ongoing issues include failing to reset maintenance reminder lights after service and no longer sending inspection reports via email without explanation. While Nick apologized, this appears to be systematic mismanagement rather than isolated incidents. For a Suburban dealership where I purchased my vehicle and paid significant money for lifetime service, this declining quality and apparent discrimination against non-Chevrolet owners is unacceptable. I hope to see significant improvements going forward. More
