Communication and professionalism needs to be addressed among the sales team. My first encounter Shane and he was very unprofessional because he treated me as if I was stupid when I asked for clarification and told me "don't be rediculous". Dave Kasper and Chris Haag smoothed things over and I wanted to give the dealership another chance so I met with Dakota who was new. I let Dakota know that we just had deposited an insurance check on Friday (we purchased the car the following day). I said that I had proof that the deposit was made and asked him if I needed to show proof that the deposit was made. He said no. I also let him know that there would be a hold on a check that large. I had also let someone in management know but I spoke to so many people that I don't recall who else I gave this info to. But I clearing said "the funds won't be available in my account for a couple days". On Monday, August 31st the dealership submitted my personal check to my bank and in bounced. I am sure they wanted it to be in their books for the end of the month. My deposited check cleared that afternoon and on Tuesday or Wednesday last week I called Dakota and let him know and said please let your payment dept know the funds are there and to put the check through and reminded him I did share this info ahead of time. Today I received a phone call from the dealership that my check did not clear. I let the man know that I had followed up with Dakota last week and clearly there was no attempt to share my very important info regarding that otherwise I would not have been receiving a call today. This is my truck and I am going to be the one driving it, not my husband. I am wondering if all females coming to your dealership are not listened to. I am one that is honest and I feel that now that the miscommunication on the payment makes me look bad. I wanted to give Dakota credit and really wanted to give him 5 stars but make sure your sales people don't drop the ball on important facts and messages. More
