Experience with an oil change Brought our Suburban in for an oil.change apt I had made. I was greeted right away and told it would be an hour; in 45 minutes I was called from the w Brought our Suburban in for an oil.change apt I had made. I was greeted right away and told it would be an hour; in 45 minutes I was called from the waiting area and asked to go outside the shop where the tech had accidentally backed my Suburban into a vendors vehicle which was parked where it should not have been. The Service writer Michelle was very apologetic and without any excuse said they would take care of my truck, would order a new bumper cover, and the oil change they had just done was no charge. They had a new bumper in 3 days, replaced it in under 1 hour, and sent me on my way. Extremely courteous and professional. I continue to use Suburban for all my maintenance. More

Shocked !!! I am Barbara Lackens husband and always bring our Suburban in for service. Prior to 4/26/2017, I have always been extremely satisfied. Along with the normal Oil Change, 27 Point Inspection, and Tire Rotation, . . . your Service Advisor Michelle Russ noted that as the current mileage was 33,654 miles, she recommended that 30,000 mile maintenance work also be done. She gave me an estimate to have this maintenance work done of $280 ($90+$160+$30). I said that our 2014 Suburban Owners Manual shows only regular service is needed to be done until 72,000 miles (page 11-5). She then pulled out a card that I guess recommended 30,000 miles. I therefore reluctantly agreed to wait the 2 hours necessary to have this work done. When I saw that our Suburban was done and sitting outside around 9:20 am, I asked the cashier if she had the invoice so I could pay it and leave. She did not, . . . but went back to get it from Michelle. I was shocked to see a total bill due of $608.62, . . . but paid it as I had to leave. After looking at what all that was actually done, I really question if this maintenance work and the new fluids/lubricants were necessary, . . . or only a way to generate more money for the service shop? Needless to say, I will have to think long and hard before I decide if I will ever come back to Suburban Chevrolet. John Lackens More
Would have rated higher BUT After my oil change and other service they forgot to reset my dashboard indicator. This will necessitate and additional trip to the service center. Have brought my car to Suburban since I bought it in 2011 and have been happy with service and attention to detail - hope this oversight is a oneoff. More
