However there were some hiccups- we ended our first meeting with a general agreement that six month detailing would be included and then by the next time we connected they had walked back that promise. That felt slimy. They resolved it after I noted we would go elsewhere but it wasn’t a good way to wrap up a deal. That appears to not have been Billy’s fault though and instead appeared to reside in his managers level of decision making. After we bought the car there were a few issues with the cleanliness of the car- when we left the lot we had the mud flaps removed and someone forgot to remove the glue from them, so we waited for that to be resolved. The waiting was not an issue but it should have been part of the check on the vehicle to consider it “ready”. Finally after purchase we received multiple texts and calls to fill out this form. The hounding was too frequent and persistent. One person said “any thing less than a 5 is considered failing” — that was a horrible message to hear. First it convinced me that the specific person who called should get a negative review, but also that sending a message that only 5s are expected sounds coercive and suggests you do not support growth in your employees, which is untenable. No one is perfect and each employee should be able to view their reviews as oportunities for growth. I suggest you read “growth mindset” by carol dweck. More
