Thank goodness for Manager Mike S. I had a problem with my 2015 Flex blinker/lightbulb. Tom Macpherson was very kind and generous with his time, wanting to help in any way he could. He sent me to Sales Consultant Chelsea Udell who was equally just as kind and very knowledgeable within the line of work. She was patient and attentive as well, listening to what I had to say and working with me to try and get the best deal. While I was unable to walk out with a new lease, I would recommend Suburban Ford of Sterling Heights to anybody, especially if you deal with Tom and Chelsea. I worked for a quality control company for the big 3 for several years and my quality standards on a vehicle are incredibly high. I am so picky about certain things, and like to inspect the vehicle top to bottom, which can sometimes take a long time. The patience these men had with me, and the kindness they showed during the whole process just made me so thankful. If you ever want to get a Ford, especially an F series, visit these guys. They have more than earned our loyalty. More

great experience, excellent service, love my new vehicle Thanks to SFSH, especially the finance department, for going above and beyond normal customer service expectations or requirements with a for-profit b Thanks to SFSH, especially the finance department, for going above and beyond normal customer service expectations or requirements with a for-profit business. * This is not a sketchy Buy Here, Pay Here lot. * I went looking at their Ford C-Max hybrids but ended up buying a VW! * The makes, models and years I was looking in general usually the best prices I could find on AutoTrader and Craigslist within southeast Michigan. * Every person I interacted with me was friendly, courteous, and professional. * Rachel Kupke did a nice job navigating the process (communicating, following up, calling me on her day off - the sales team schedule is in plain sight in the manager's office, etc.) * The price of the car went up a bit after I put a hold on it, and Jeff Bartlett honored the original price from my hold (another car I was thinking about went down $2.5K during the time frame so it was not personal). * The original financing package offered had me really worried that I was making a bad decision. Caleb Herrera personally helped to explore other options and took unusual steps to let me take a different approach to the loan. * Terry Lange helped bridge the sales to finance transition, once with a phone call when someone else was busy, and my daughter appreciated the hot chocolate Terry got for her. * I have a low credit score right now / am self-employed and they got me into the car I wanted, living to their promise of everyone is guaranteed financing. * Also, a shout-out to the hardworking detail department, the car looked very sharp inside and they even filled the tank up with gas when it was almost empty on my test drive. My only quibble and one missing star in one category is I wish they give you an idea earlier in the process of the loan terms (interest rates, fees, add-ons, etc.) instead of literally the very last step where they layout the paperwork for you to sign (after getting insurance for the car and putting a deposit down, etc.). I know now this is a common practice in the industry, and there are business reasons for doing it (they can't write up loans for people without knowing the specific car, or take time doing financing packages for people not certain they want to make a purchase, etc.). As a used car buyer, I recommend you take the time to learn about the pre-owned sales and financing process, advocate for yourself and avoid getting swept up in the momentum at the very last step in the process - say no if you have any doubts and see if a better way forward is available. More
