I saw the vehicle online and came in 2 days later and purchased the vehicle. I worked with Joey Demilio over the phone and he was polite, helpful and easy to get a hold of. The whole transaction went smoothly and my husband and I were very pleased, however when we sat down with Trisha in finance to finalized the deal, she persuaded us to purchase the 'Easy Care" extended warranty but did explain the cancellation policy. We understand that the extended warranty of $1,970 was tacked on top the cost of the vehicle which made our premium higher. However, she did not explain that if we choose to cancel at a later time, the premium will remain at the higher rate and will not go back to its original state, where it was before the warranty. She told us that an "Easy Care” package will come to us in the mail and so my husband was confused and thought that she did not gave us any type of document showing we purchased the warranty. After much thought and only a few days later, we decided to cancel the warranty so we called Trisha. It was at this time that she finally told us about the cancellation policy and was very upset at us because we were confused. She was downright rude, accusing my husband of playing games just because he thought she did not provide us with any documents from the "Easy Care" warranty program. She got upset at me and my husband for calling her, saying she does not need for us to call her 5 times over something that could be dealt with in 20 mins. Well, EXCUSE ME but I think Suburban Honda received a very easy deal from us. I saw your car online, did my research and called you guys and purchased the car 2 days later with $5,000 cash down. Came into your place, knew exactly what we were coming in to buy and didn't waste your time in closing the deal so how the heck is that playing games???!!!! And this is how we get treated?!!! Are you for real??? Before you accuse someone of playing games, think!! Please for future reference, make sure you explain things thoroughly to your consumers, especially about the warranty cancellation policy so they WOULD NOT be confused and get frustrated! If Trisha would have done so, we would not have had this issue!!! I rated customer service a two because of Trisha! Joe, on the other hand was very helpful!! More

I've been leasing a Honda Pilot for my last few leases and was planning on leasing another one. I used Edmunds for the first time and was bombarded with email and phone calls from various different leases and was planning on leasing another one. I was a bit overwhelmed with all of the response but was initially impressed by the straight forward email and phone response from Suburban Honda...after confirming the quoted price multiple times with the sales rep over the phone in different conversations and making it clear that I am busy and didn't want to waste my time or his; he talked me into coming into the dealership to make our deal. Unfortunately as soon as I got there and did the test drive and wasted an hour of my time he came back at me with a quote $25 higher per monthly payment then what we originally discussed and what I confirmed multiple times...then as I started walking out they came at me with another quote and stated that the sales rep that gave me the initial quote made a mistake....lol...what a joke! I confirmed this quote with both sales people and more then once...typical poor customer service and misleading tactics...many more details but too much to type...I would recommend against wasting your time with the Suburban Honda dealership there are many more out there with much better ethics....... I came in after getting a flyer in the mail for a free turkey and saying my 2010 Honda could be worth $11,000 in trade in towards a new model. I immediately faced a line of other dissatisfied customers as turkey and saying my 2010 Honda could be worth $11,000 in trade in towards a new model. I immediately faced a line of other dissatisfied customers as their free turkey was a $10.00 coupon which they "ran out of". I then told my sales person what I owed on my 2010 and how ideally that car needs to be paid off in trade in value. They played the usual games of taking my keys but never looking at the car other than the mileage. I again inquired as to why the "bait and switch" over the flyer they sent me as a returning customer. The manager came over and told me flat out they would only give me $4K towards my car despite the fact I was on the phone with my credit union who was willing to finance up to 110% or more if needed towards replacing the car wth a 2014 model. The manager refused to negioiate and refused to give me any copupons for anything and threw me out despite the evidence that I was willing and able to bring them a cashiers check the following day. Needless to say, I was a victiim of bait and switch coming in and treated with outright hostility for daring to bring up the fact they were in violation of the Michigan Consumer protection Act MCL 445.903(2). Now I will be filing a small claims suit for the value of the turkey plus a $250.00 judgement for damage4s as set forth in the law. More importantly, they lost me forever as a repeat customer who can come in with cash after we agree on a price. Aviod this place at all costs. More

He had great follow through and we couldn't have been happier with everything he did for us and with our "new to us" car. We also worked with the finance department with a man named Karl Stuef and he was very helpful and not pushy which we truly appreciated. We felt pleased and satisfied with what we purchased and what we didn't. Brought the car back for a service appointment which was handled by Jeff Smith. Everything was done according to our needs and we were very happy with all of the service dept. We would highly recommend Suburban Honda for anyone looking for a new/used car... More

If i am still in Mi when my new 2014 Honda Accord hits it 175,000 mile mark, the time frame in which I have come to shop around for a replacement Honda, I will be back, looking Steve up!
