Sullivan-Parkhill participates in the DealerRater.com Certified Dealer Program. We are committed to providing high quality customer service, but based on your DealerRater.com review, you did not share that experience. That is very disappointing to us, and through this program we have the opportunity to work with you to resolve any issues with your experience here at Sullivan-Parkhill. I understand your frustration with the radio and that is why we offered to send it in and get the radio repaired. A month without a radio is a lot to ask from a customer but that was the way we could get it repaired. As for the air, with the extreme temperatures I know it is uncomfortable. I asked Samm if you had the vehicle looked at, it might be as simple as a charge of the a/c which is not uncommon with these extreme temperatures. If you would like us to do that I can accomadate. Sincerely, Jake Tucker Sales Manager Sullivan-Parkhill

Mr. Evans, I would like to take a minute to try to help resolve your concerns about your transaction. The first thing is based on what your car insurance agent was telling you either we were selling you the car way to cheap or they were figuring something wrong on their end, if we were only selling you the car for $6490+ t,t,l and fees and they were claiming they would pay over the total amount with tax, title license, and the optional coverages, something doesn't quite add up there, but that is really between you and the insurance. As far as the GAP coverage being optional, you are correct, if you would have elected to not have GAP coverage, the required downpayment to have the lending institution approve the loan was considerable more. Additionally, they were having a problem getting the employment information to verify with your employer and without being able to verify that, they consider the application incomplete and will not finalize the loan, therefore we would have to have the car returned. I know you mention several times that you made several different individuals at the store mad, but in reality our concern was always to help you get the car with the lowest downpayments to help keep it in your budget, unfortunately due to your past credit experience this was the only one of our large number of banks that would consider loaning you the money, so we tried to get you the car with a downpayment that you agreed to. Ultimately when we presented all the paperwork to you, you did sign all the paperwork and agree to all the terms as they were laid out, including the option GAP coverage. Due to the additional downpayment requirement without GAP coverage and the inability of the bank to get your employer to verify your employment, we offered to allow you to return the car and give you a full refund, which is what you agreed was the solution you wanted. I hope that as you move further from this transaction you will fall closer to the side of your fiance as she expressed to me her appreciation of everything we did to try to help you guys reestablish your credit and get a car, and that she was sorry it didn't work out, and if you do, please feel free to change your review as you always have the ability to reconsider, or remove your comments you have made here. I wish you both well in the future and am sorry we weren't able to help you get a car this time. George Longfellow Sales Manager

Just admit you ripped me off , and when I caught you in a lie you changed it! My credit is not good so you took advantage of me that is the bottom line , if you took the gap insurance and the warranty your dealer made me take balance due was 6,200. my insurance would have paid 8,700. so what did I need gap insurance for? Oh yeah to put more commission in the dealers pocket , then when I caught your dealer in a lie you tried to back me in to a wall and say I had to bring the car back , hey George FYI I knew I could have kept the car and get the money back after my first payment was made there was nothing you could have done , butt I really did not want to deal with thieves like you! Explain to all potential buyers , if Gap insurance was mandatory for me to buy , why did contract say it was optional?

Sullivan-Parkhill responded

Thanks for the feedback. I am sorry it didn't work out. Due to the fact that your employer would not take a call to verify your employment was the only reason we were able to offer to cancel the contract for you. From the banks point of view, until they are able to verify all of the specifics of the credit application, they loan is not finalized. I am sorry you feel that someone lied to you, but that is simply not the case. I guess the old saying that 'sometimes it's better to just agree to disagree' would fit well here.

LMFAO dude your idiot finance women Kelly gave the finance company the wrong number , so instead of saying yes mr. Evans I am a liar you found me out you pick this out of your nose , well when I talked to the finance company and gave them correct number they were able to verify it , but it's cool keep making excuses to show what a bunch of sorry people mr parkhill has working for him , well he isn't much better after hearing the voicemail he left me.When I have a little time I'm going to post the email you sent me (Mr. Evans if you don't want the gap insurance maybe you should just bring the car back). Remember that 1?

Sullivan-Parkhill responded

Mr. Evans, I appreciate your concerns, and as we discussed because you were unhappy with the transaction, we gave you a 100% full refund. We are sorry this didn't work out and felt that giving you a full refund was the best solution.
