Brought my car in for service as it stalled in heavy freeway traffic and multiple error messages flashed on. I was given a courtesy loaner and after they had the car for over a week they could not find freeway traffic and multiple error messages flashed on. I was given a courtesy loaner and after they had the car for over a week they could not find anything wrong except the back brakes needed to be changed and since and the next oil change was coming up. The paperwork noted customer states check engine light came on and I did tell them it was more than that light and to check the computer and wires as I live in the mountains and mice do damage. They said they checked everything but could not find any cause of car stall. I got the car back with new back brakes and oil changed. Not sure if I will come back there for any serious issues. Also driving the loaner car back home while my car in shop they had a salesman call and try to buy my car and buy a new car. Very tacky. More

I had an excellent experience at Summit Subaru. I went in for routine maintenance, and during the visit they discovered oil and transmission issues that needed attention. Not only were these problems fully repaired, but they were also completely covered under my extended warranty—something I would not have known if Nathan, my service advisor, hadn’t gone out of his way to research the coverage and advocate on my behalf. We've been taking our Outback to Summit Subaru for about three years now. We switched from another dealership in San Diego that was sub-par in their customer care. The staff at Summit, including most recent three years now. We switched from another dealership in San Diego that was sub-par in their customer care. So far, we have only come to Summit for maintenance/repair of our 2019 Subaru Forester, having just discovered this place a few months ago.
