The are slow to contact you about repairs that are needed. The try to find things that are not covered under the warranty so that you will be charged for the repair. I brought my Jeep in for a minor repair which was basically to replace a bad connector that is attached to the Blower Motor resistor. The simple repair, with up selling was over $500.00 and when I pi basically to replace a bad connector that is attached to the Blower Motor resistor. The simple repair, with up selling was over $500.00 and when I picked up my car the heater or AC blower motor did work, but the air did not come out of the vents. This I believe is a major repair that could cost over $1000.00. When I quickly brought it back, it was as if I wanted another estimate for something they (Suncoast) either disconnected or broke. All my blower vents had worked before bringing my car into the dealership and I do have proof of that. Discussions with the service manager did not help solve the problem. I am so mad that I was awake all night. I am a registered Professional Engineer in many states and do know how to use electric meters and solve wiring problems. I did receive estimates to fix the problem prior to bringing my Jeep into your dealership. I did not believe they were going to replace the right part as they wanted to replace the blower motor, but a simple check determined that the reason the blower didnt work was there was no power going to it. I found the bad connector myself using a voltage and OHM meter. All I wanted the Suncoast dealer to fix was what I believed was a bad connector, as when I cleaned it up, everything worked normally. I have a loyalty to the Jeep brand but had negative experiences with other Jeep dealers in the area. At Suncoast my salesperson as well as the dealership was supportive and encouraging during the entire process. The salesman was extremely knowledgeable about the cars in stock, their features, as well as my financing options. Everyone I worked with was friendly and personable. The family owned dealership gives a warmer and more welcoming feel than most other dealerships I have visited. Needless to say, I will continue to bring my business to Suncoast and would strongly encourage anyone else! More
We have a 2006 Jeep Liberty, bought at Suncoast Jeep brand new. The Jeep has been back over 8 times for a window regulator repair on all of the windows. Since 2006 Chrystler has acknowledged that there brand new. The Jeep has been back over 8 times for a window regulator repair on all of the windows. Since 2006 Chrystler has acknowledged that there is a problem and made upgrades/repairs to the design flaw. Instead of fixing the problem permanently, Suncoast continues to use the... old design so that we have to bring the Jeep back in for repairs at approximately $100 each. As long as this problem is not solved permanently, look for the Mitsubishi with its windows painted "Do Not Buy Suncoast Jeep." Also look for the bad reviews and viral videos posted by me and other unsatisfied customers online. More
I have been dealing with Suncoast Chrysler for years. Tami has always been helpful. I trust her 100% with my cars. I also have gotten to know the service director Eric Osborne. When arriving service rep took my coupon for routine service, asked me if I needed a ride home and had me sign a list for the ride home. I asked if I needed to sign work order which rep had not even st service, asked me if I needed a ride home and had me sign a list for the ride home. In the past a service rep always explained to me every job that would be done and discussed with me how to contact me if additional work needed and asked if I had any questions. All this young man did was send me to waiting room yo wait for ride. He called later in the morning and said,"some fluids need to be changed-they are black". I told him change the fluids. When called that afternoon and told my car was ready I was not given any price info. Car under warrenty cost me over $400.00 for routine service and additional fluid changes. I sense a noticable decline in service attitude and ability for me to verify work done since the financial crisis. I still have a prepaid service plan with Suncoast for a long time in the future, but am leaning to not using that prepaid plan as I feel they may be doing unneeded work for extra cash flow rather that protection of my vehicle. We purchased the auto butler service with our vehicle and so glad we did. Don’t forget to commend those guys in the back that do this detailing. My car is as clean inside and out as it was the day we purchased the car. After having it cleaned is like getting into a brand new car. My experience with everyone at this dealership over the last year has been outstanding from all who work here.
