It has under 48,000 miles and has always run like a top. It has never needed any service aside from scheduled maintenance. There was a safety recall and a part was ordered; When it came in an appointment was made but had to be rescheduled due to family illness. After receiving 2 calls reminding me that they had my part: I make another appointment and bring the Vibe in. Now starts a cascading of issues for your consideration: I bring car in by appointment and am told they have to order the part, so car will remain overnight. They find maintenance issues for which I am grateful ... but then I receive a call that after replacing serp belt, airbag, oil, coolant flush; cabin filter a test run showed the car engine check light is on (never happened before) and I need a new computer or the car will not run right! I was shocked ... but told, although it is a lot to swallow, yes the car suddenly developed an expensive problem, but the good news is they have a replacement computer for my 2007 Vibe IN STOCK! I have a bad feeling about all this, but when I make the point that I want the old part and I would like them to inspect it to be sure it is the same computer that I drove in with, I am told, no problem, you can have the part, but verifying that it is the original will not be possible. When I go in next day to pick up the car I am told that I cannot have the old part because of a core charge, but that it was indeed the original! I ask how they could promise me the old part yesterday, but could not verify that it was the original, now I am being told that I cannot have the part, but that they could verify that it was the original! The answer was that he "made a mistake". I think I would have to be a blithering idiot to return to Sunset Auto. Odd thing is ... if you believe things happen for a reason: I am planning on buying a car in January or Feb. I had been considering an Equinox, especially since I had a relationship with the dealer! I feel like I have been sent a memo to look elsewhere. Mazda CX-5 here I come. More

One of the used car salesman called last night and asked if I was still buying the car. I advised that financing was approved and I would be sending down payment Fedex this morning. I called this morning to find out they sold the car last night after I had been working in good faith with them for 3 days. The used car manager even advised me that he cou Ltd take a credit card for down payment even though it is strictly against the dealership policy. He lied to me! The finance director also decided to disregard the promise to call me back. Shady business dealings. Buyers beware of this place! More

They emailed us and even said the car was ours. Very poor crooked dealership. Our advice is to deal with a more reputable dealership. More

Took me a week to figure out the radio only allowed you to connect your phone via bluetooth for phone calls but not music. They told me the radio was nearly impossible to replace and offered me a few hundred dollars as compensation. The satellite radio cuts out every time you pass under the smallest branch, my other vehicles have never had this issue. GM products just seem to be inferior. Second: A few weeks after my purchase my bank debited the entire price of my trade in vehicle (14K) from my bank account as Sunset Chevrolet's payoff check for the vehicle had bounced. They wound up needing to cut me another check directly for the 14K after their bank issues were resolved. Bottom line, don't do business here. They lied up front about the radio and then put me in a very bad position by bouncing their payoff check. More

Everyone is Friendly and Offered their assistance Purchased my new Acadia just a week ago and was told that there was a full set of All Weather Floor mats there for me as well as a Cover for the back Purchased my new Acadia just a week ago and was told that there was a full set of All Weather Floor mats there for me as well as a Cover for the back area of my Denali. No hassle and No extra cost. I'd have never know about these items unless Chris Called and let me know. Now my next item to learn is if the Service Department here is as good as Sunset Cadillac's is.
