On the plus side, Sunset had just the used van i was looking for. But things got a little tacky as the deal progressed. Sunset touts their lifetime linited power-train warranty. So I am left to assume the claim fulfillment rate is too low to publish and that like others have found, this is largely just a marketing line. To Sunset's credit, they did repair some body work, but the sales person did not alert me to this damage before i drove 2.5 hours to view the van. Then when I arrived to close the deal and retrieve the van, my salesman, despite committing to be there, was nowhere to be found. He had essentially ghosted me after I put down a deposit. The final insult was that i was handed only a single key to the van. This was a high-end, late-model van bought at a preimium price and Sunset couldn't see its way to providing a second set of keys. Tacky. So my take is, if you can't find what you're looking for anywhere else, Sunset will do. But if you can get the same vehicle elsewhere, you should do so. More
