Quick, Easy & COMPLETELY PAINLESS! I needed a car ASAP! Had 1 day to get a car because my previous car would not pass safety & emissions. Howard Wood got it DONE! Told Mr. Wood what I was looking for and what I could afford. I stopped in after work, Mr. Howard Wood showed me the vehicle he picked out for me based on the criteria I gave him and explained to me 2 different buying options I had, I chose 1 and it was done. The only thing I had to do was sign the paperwork. This is the worst part usually, waiting around for finance. Mr. Wood kept me occupied by explaining in detail everything about the new vehicle I purchased and going over different scenarios that he has had previous customers ask about and go through. The wait was not long at all for finance and I drove away knowing how to use every bell and whistle on my new vehicle. Bought 2016 Escape....things could have gone better I have driven Fords my whole life due to my dad (Delbert Adams) retiring from Ford after 30 years. I've had a lemon (Taurus) but for the most part I can't complain about all the Fords I've driven. I've dealt with both Dave Sinclair and Sunset in the past and haven't had problems with either, until recently. I was driving a 2010 Ford Escape which I loved. Unfortunately I was in an accident and the vehicle was totaled. I decided to buy another Escape and ended up with a new 2016 model. First let me say I like the vehicle so far and don't have any complaints with the ride or functionality. However the vehicle I bought was in the showroom, which was not a big deal to me. My son noticed our salesman had to jump start the Escape to get it off the showroom floor. I didn't think much of it at the time as I know people are in and out, opening doors, turning things on, etc. while looking at it. This was on a Saturday. By Monday morning I had called Ford Roadside Assistance (which by the way are great to work with) to jump start my vehicle 3 times. I ended up taking it back on Monday and they said the battery was defective and they replaced it. Mike K. was the service person I dealt with and he was exceptional. Also, Jim who handles the rental cars was very helpful and professional. I was promised a free tank of gas by the showroom manager for the inconvenience but that never happened. Hopefully this was just an isolated incident and I want to reiterate I haven't had any issues with Sunset prior to this and will shop there again. More
