Surprisingly pleasant experience! Let me start off by saying buying a car has always been one of those chores we all dread. You pull up in the lot, several " vultures" size you up and Let me start off by saying buying a car has always been one of those chores we all dread. You pull up in the lot, several " vultures" size you up and the " lucky" one comes down to greet you. You walk in as a parent looking for a "safe" inexpensive vehicle for your teenager and soon are convinced you are a bad parent if you don't spend a little more for a "safer" vehicle. After feeling a little pressured I walked away from several lots feeling they were more interested in their commission rather than my needs and budget. The feeling that I got at Suntrup( in particular from Joey B.) was different. He actually seemed interested in trying to find us a vehicle that was safe and closer to our budgeted numbers. While he did point out a few other options, told us pros and cons on each, I never felt like he was pushing any specific vehicle on us. When we started Hyundai really wasn't even on our radar, although my sister-in- law has one and loves it. Now we couldn't be happier with our new "used" car and may view car buying with a little more positive attitude. It was truly a surprisingly pleasant experience.
