What began with Bill Suntrup opening the first dealership in the 1960s has blossomed into a multi-generational, family-run automotive empire. Just a decade after Bill launched his first dealership, his brother Don joined him, and together, they laid the foundation for what would become the Suntrup Automotive Group.

Bill's sons, Chris and Tom, are partners in Suntrup West County Volvo, with Tom also serving as President and CEO of Suntrup Ford Kirkwood, Suntrup Buick GMC in St. Peters, and Suntrup Ford Westport.
On the other side of the family tree, Don’s children, Butch and Craig, are proud partners in Suntrup Nissan/Volkswagen, Suntrup Kia, Suntrup Hyundai, and BMW of West St. Louis. As Craig Suntrup reflects, "We all started early in the business, around age 12, doing the grunt work—washing cars, cleaning parts, and painting walls."

I typically hate the new car experience but that certainly changed when I stopped in Suntrup Kia on Sunday and met Robyn. She and the entire team (Todd and BJ) changed my experience. Robyn was amaz certainly changed when I stopped in Suntrup Kia on Sunday and met Robyn. She and the entire team (Todd and BJ) changed my experience. Robyn was amazing, she made it fun. Once I decided on a car, we were out the door in about an hour and a half. By far the best car buying experience EVER.. thank you Robyn. WE LOVE OUR NEW CAR!!! More

I always look forward to visiting Suntrup Kia for my maintenance appointments! Always quick with there services and everyone is so friendly! I visited on 01/13/2021, and had the pleasure of meeting Ginn maintenance appointments! Always quick with there services and everyone is so friendly!
