What began with Bill Suntrup opening the first dealership in the 1960s has blossomed into a multi-generational, family-run automotive empire. Bill's sons, Chris and Tom, are partners in Suntrup West County Volvo, with Tom also serving as President and CEO of Suntrup Ford Kirkwood, Suntrup Buick GMC in St. Peters, and Suntrup Ford Westport.
On the other side of the family tree, Don’s children, Butch and Craig, are proud partners in Suntrup Nissan/Volkswagen, Suntrup Kia, Suntrup Hyundai, and BMW of West St. Louis. As Craig Suntrup reflects, "We all started early in the business, around age 12, doing the grunt work—washing cars, cleaning parts, and painting walls."

We were car shopping because we had to...our 2011 Kia Soul was totaled out after my hubby was rear ended. I was heartbroken. We did our research on our computer, and found the car we did buy...Brian understood my "pain" and was patient and supportive! Brian helped me get just that little bit better price I could live with! And BJ, our Finance Guru, managed to get us a lower interest rate than what we had secured on Saturday! BJ knows his stuff! And has a super fish tank to gaze at while the paperwork is finished! So impressed with how we were treated; it was as if we were buying the top of the line Kia, and not the great "previously owned" car we went to Suntrup to buy! Great to leave happy! Thanks! More
