What began with Bill Suntrup opening the first dealership in the 1960s has blossomed into a multi-generational, family-run automotive empire. Just a decade after Bill launched his first dealership, his brother Don joined him, and together, they laid the foundation for what would become the Suntrup Automotive Group.

Bill's sons, Chris and Tom, are partners in Suntrup West County Volvo, with Tom also serving as President and CEO of Suntrup Ford Kirkwood, Suntrup Buick GMC in St. Peters, and Suntrup Ford Westport.
On the other side of the family tree, Don’s children, Butch and Craig, are proud partners in Suntrup Nissan/Volkswagen, Suntrup Kia, Suntrup Hyundai, and BMW of West St. Louis. As Craig Suntrup reflects, "We all started early in the business, around age 12, doing the grunt work—washing cars, cleaning parts, and painting walls."

New Sedona=ROAD TRIP! It was about time we made a new Kia purchase. Quick and Efficient with Great Customer Service! This is the fourth vehicle I have purchased from Suntrup Kia, and I will admit, I was nervous because the previous salesman I had used was relocated t This is the fourth vehicle I have purchased from Suntrup Kia, and I will admit, I was nervous because the previous salesman I had used was relocated to a different store a few years ago. Moe made himself readily available and asked if he could earn my business. I was not in the market for a new vehicle as I LOVED my 2016 Sedona, but the manager Jeff called a few days before and asked if we would be interested in upgrading to a new car if the numbers worked out. Long story short, I brought my van in for a quick appraisal and within two hours, I drove off in a new van with a minimal (only $25/month) increase in my payments! I was very satisfied with Moe's knowledge and friendliness, as well as his ability to get us within a payment range with which we were comfortable. Jarrod in the finance department was able to get us in and out of his office in under ten minutes. I look forward to coming back for my service and maintenance with the awesome service department at Suntrup Kia! More
