Great Experience at Suntrup I was in the market for a new vehicle because my ‘04 Nissan Pathfinder was on it’s last leg. Originally I’d narrowed my choices to two vehicles, a Nis I was in the market for a new vehicle because my ‘04 Nissan Pathfinder was on it’s last leg. Originally I’d narrowed my choices to two vehicles, a Nissan Altima or Volkswagen Passat. Since Suntrup has both dealerships side by side I decided to go there. I was greated by salesman Wilcox Yorama who has access to both lots and the used car lot. He was very knowledgeable about both vehicles, let me test drive them both and there was no pressure sales. I bring this up because after driving both cars I wasn’t impressed with either. After toiling over my decision for a while and walking around I spotted a Blue Honda Accord on the used car lot. I discussed the car with Wilcox and he was more than happy to take me out on another drive and show me all the features of the Honda. Long story short I ended up purchasing the Honda. I got a great deal on my trade and after a little negotiating I got an even better purchase price on the car! More

Working with Joe was absolutely outstanding I am almost 60 and have bought many new cars and trucks in my life, but this was by far the best buying experience of my life! Poor experience overall Went to look at a Rogue after being in contact with the dealership for several days. After arriving, we were connected with a totally different sales Went to look at a Rogue after being in contact with the dealership for several days. After arriving, we were connected with a totally different sales person (Stacey) than we'd been in contact with (we actually never even met that person) and were told the car we'd hoped to test drive had just been sold. Stacey then had to stop in the middle of speaking with us to greet another couple who walked in the door- not because other sales staff were busy with customers, but because no one else even looked up while sitting at their desks! To further our disappointment, we also found out the internet was inaccurate in the list of features (the internet stated multiple options that apparently are only really available on a different, more expensive model) and that there was no way we could get all the "wish list" items we were looking for on the basic model we'd been looking into. Stacey next explained to us that there were NO certified pre-owned Rouges available for us to even test drive, as they were all in use as service vehicles, but they were asking if someone could "bring one back" for us to check out. Eventually we were able to test drive a very nice Rogue that had all the options yet was out of our price range. Aparently another sales person, Terry, has been driving this one and was nice enough to let us test drive it, so we could get a feel for the vehicle. As my wife looked at the scratches and damage (mostly minor cosmetic stuff, but quite noticable!) on the interior and exterior of the car, Stacey said "If you're going to be that picky, you better buck up and just buy a new one!" If I'm going to buy a car, I'm going to be sure it's in nice shape, since it's new to me, so yes, I'm going to look at things like big brown stains on the ceiling, higher mileage (by a few thousand miles) than advertised, and dents in the seats. When we returned from the test drive, we sat down with Stacey again to discuss options and next steps. We did have some specific asks as far as color, mileage, and convenience options we wanted, but knew we weren't going to be able to get everything and stay in our price range; the goal was to find a happy medium and ideally, purchase a vehicle. However, Stacey instead said to us something along the lines of 'you're going to have to give on the color, bells and whistles, or mileage. So I just don't think we have a car for you.' There was no presentation of other options, other vehicles, or any other conversation. We were simply dismissed, which was especially frustrating considering we had said from the beginning we were open to any SUV, as we were not familiar with any type of Nissan. I guess Stacey didn't actually "really want to sell you guys a car" like she'd said when we first arrived! I was quite insulted and disappointed by the complete lack of customer service! My wife and I both were open to conversations about other cars besides Rogue, or even other makes besides Nissan, yet none were even presented. It worked out for us in the end, and we purchased a vehicle from another dealership where we had the best experience ever, got a great deal, and were treated with respect. More
