Hi Sergio, regarding RO #156432DS on February 19, 2026, you visited us for a safety recall, a general diagnosis regarding a "water in fuel" message, and a multi-point inspection. Our team took a fuel sample that showed some sort of contamination, and while not grossly contaminated we felt it was enough to cause an issue. We recommended cleaning the fuel system and replacing the fuel filters to get you safely back on the road. After a second opinion, you opted only to drain the fuel filter, which we were not confident would fully fix your problem. It didn't, and the light remained on. We've reviewed the Repair Order from your hometown dealership and there was no mention of damaged drains. They also drained the filters again and cleaned contacts that would be dirty from contaminated fuel. Ultimately, you were only charged a Diagnostic fee for your visit and that fee was fully refunded.

They did exactly what is recommended by Chrysler to do. Drain the fuel filter filters and clean the sensor. Upon their job, the problem was solved. Something you could’ve done, but you felt the need of charging me $1600 for a job much greater. On top of it you still charged me to drain the fuel filters. The response on the Chrysler dealership where I purchased the truck, “your truck is under warranty you owe nothing. We will take care of you.” It doesn’t matter how you want to spin this, your procedure was wrong and reflecting a “crook“ move! And yes, the drains were damaged by you. Not sure if it’s on report or not but that’s what I was told. Feel free to contact them and I’m sure you’ll get the same response. Any honourable business would do just that!

Our records indicate that you only paid the diagnostic fee, which included draining the filters. Contaminated fuel is not a warrantable repair. The aforementioned $1600.00 you referenced is for cleaning the fuel system and replacing the fuel filters, which you declined. If your selling dealer opted not to charge you to drain the fuel system and clean sensors, that's their decision. You paid $209.00 for the total visit at our shop, which was fully reimbursed. We apologize you feel this way, but are glad you're back on the road safely.
