I contacted this dealership after I saw an ad for a really good price on a 2017 Ford Escape. I was initially supposed to interact with Derek Jones since he is in charge of internet sales (people who in really good price on a 2017 Ford Escape. I didn't get out of my place of work as early as I wanted to, so by the time I got there, he was swamped with other customers. I ended up interacting with Kevin Carter, with whom I spent most of my time. I also met with one of the finance people who I think was named John. They made the process as seamless as possible. The only glitch was that my husband and I didn't have full coverage on our auto insurance policy, and so they wanted me to obtain that before my purchase, even though the vehicles we owned would be changing, and how does one do that at 6:30 at night? Anyway, I was able to get the financing I needed (i.e. first time financing a car) and leave with my vehicle that evening. More
It was Monday & started out with low-air in tire. Which one??? Had short wait to get in. Learned I had a nail in back left tire. They found it right away & fixed it for me. Rather than telling people to just come in to the fast lane - no appointment - let people make appointments for oil changes/maintenance/tire rotation. There was a line of cars when I showed up. After waiting a while in line, then I waited quite a while inside. Considering what was being done, the wait was not reasonable. Further, I paid a lot of money for a maintenance plan and was shocked that I was told I had to pay for the air filter replacement. It's been a year and I understand I haven't put on much mileage, but suppose I had driven on a really dusty road that messed up my filter? Why wasn't that thing covered: I was told "just because my mileage was too low." That's not reasonable. I received a text message at 5:15 that said my car was ready for pickup. Maybe these are auto generated messages but having come in about 12:30, the car was done and I was already home before 4 pm. Your messaging process is faulty. Edited addition: When I was there, no one had pointed out that there was supposedly a tire issue. A couple days later I received an email to set up an appt for a tire replacement, which I then noticed was noted on my receipt. Since last year my tires were 9/32 and I hadn't driven much since then due to COVID, I was shocked, so I went to another reputable service to get a second opinion: My tires are still 9/32 and there is no uneven wear or issues - I was told I definitely do not need new tires. Apparently the Ford service folks inserted the wrong message on my receipt and hopefully another person didn't mistakenly get a "your tires are healthy" report. I'm marking "yes" for the dealership because the sales department had been great when I bought my car. More
