I stopped in to have my oil changed twice in a week but was turned away because they were so short staffed. The third time I went I told them I would wait the hour because I needed it done before my Thanks was turned away because they were so short staffed. The third time I went I told them I would wait the hour because I needed it done before my Thanksgiving drive. After a hour long wait they had my car in the shop for under 15 minutes. I paid the $56 and was on my way. When I hit the highway I could smell something weird and my car was making a horrible sound. I knew they were closed for the night so I went back right away in the morning. I called and called with no answer. Even while I was parked in the Quick Lane, no one was answering but I could hear the phone ringing and watch the guy at the computer ignore it. When he finally picked up I told him that something was very wrong and I needed them to check it out right away. I pulled in they discovered that my oil cap was not put on and oil was covering my entire engine. I waited patiently while they refilled the oil and power washed under the hood. I understand mistakes happen – that is not why I am writing this. I come to the Ford dealer and pay more money excepting amazing service. Not only was I turned away multiple times, they messed up (big time) and then they were not even going to note it in my vehicle's profile until I asked. This is a new vehicle with 13K miles on it. It is odd to me that no one has reached out to offer a coupon or refund when it was their mistake and could have been much worse had I not been proactive at taking care of it. More
