My new 2017 Tiguan began burning oil @ 70k miles. Took it in for service/repair. They did a pressure test to check for leaks, which I told them it was burning oil and not leaking oil. All said and do Took it in for service/repair. They did a pressure test to check for leaks, which I told them it was burning oil and not leaking oil. All said and done, I paid $750 for an oil change. The service clerk basically said it was “my fault” because I was adding oil before the oil light was coming on (needed to add a quart every 400 miles) and that I was over filling it. Fast forward to 2025, ran the car to it gave out. Now I find out that there’s a class action law suit against VW. More
