Sutton Ford

We bought a car advertised as accident free. Once we agreed on the price, they bring in the paperwork to sign, which lists a "Vin Etch" for $200. Once I got that off there, the finance guy tried slipping in an extended warranty. Just before I signed the paperwork I noticed "ESP" on the contract for $2000! When I questioned it, he said it was a mistake that the computer put in there. Yeah, ok whatever...***. So we finally escape with the car and over the next few days we notice a few squeaks and rattles. So I took it to a collision center when we find out it's been in an accident and needs over $1000 in work! So I took the car over to the dealership and explain the situation and ask them to buy the car back since it was advertised as being accident free. The guy in the sales tower starts laughing and says there's no way they are buying it back. Now I'm really ticked! So after some heated words, they offer to put us in another car. The cars they showed us were worth a few thousand dollars less than the one we have. Then they show us cars worth the same as ours, but tell us they will cost $3-4k more. All of them had "issues". Then they tell us they could take the car back from us, but they could only give us black book value and we'd have to pay the $3000 difference in cash to them. Then they say we can walk away if we sign over our $7k car to them. When that fails, they tell us we can trade the car in on a minivan which turns out to be $8k over book value. What a freaking joke. These guys are so slimy, stay away from Sutton Ford at all costs. These guys epitomize "used car salesman". We're handing the case over to the Attorney Generals office. More
