The Sales Manager Frank Pizzirulli thought the deposit check was already processed which would require a 10 business day wait until it clears, before it could be refunded to the customer. It is easy to say that you strive to extend exemplary customer service but actions speak louder than words. For a Sales Manager to make statements without investigating a situation that impacts a customer does not demonstrate this striving for exemplary customer service. Before telling his employees that they need to back to me the customer and tell me that I have to wait 10 business days for MY money - especially when YOU have not provided ANY goods is definitely POOR customer service.

With regards to the statement "when the customer informed us he did not want the products, we agreed to deduct the total cost of the products from the vehicle, but he said no" is incorrect. When I noted the additional cost and questioned them the first response after going to talk to the Sales Manager Frank Pizzirulli was that those could not be changed. I than asked to speak with Frank and he came out and would not remove the cost for the etching but would reduce the price. He than proceeded to publicly rebuke his employee that it was his fault for not explaining up front that the price written on the piece of paper did not include these additional charges. I clarified to him that was not the way to deal with the situation. NEVER did he come back and talk to me again and offer to deduct those extra - NOT agreed upon options. After this sales visit I drove to another Lincoln dealership and bought the same car that I had been looking at and THAT dealership never tried to push additional options after we had agreed on a price. The hour it took me to just get my money back from Sutton is how long it took to close the entire deal with the other dealership. ALL paperwork, financing everything done in the same amount of time to just get my own check back. That is exemplary customer service - definitely NOT how Sutton works.

We made every effort to dealer trade a vehicle for you, but no dealer would take the vehicle you wanted out of their inventory to trade with us, hence the reason we could not get you your desired vehicle. The check you gave to us was deposited and could not be returned to you until it cleared the bank. When you visited the dealership on Friday to receive your check, you were told there was only one check signer available (which was the truth) and your check would be ready on Monday. Sutton Ford refunded your check before noon on Monday as promised. We were as disappointed as you were that we could not sell you a vehicle. Be Blessed!

Al said "I will have this car in your driveway tomorrow". He did not say "if the other dealer lets us trade" He was very clear its a done deal. I would not have given $2000 if there was a question as to the availability. You guys have been in this business long enough to know the difference, I was misled. Currie motors also said they could get my car,they did not cash my check and gave it back the next day with their apologies. I found the car at Napelton the same night you guys failed me, "ITS NOW IN MY DRIVEWAY" despite having to come up with another $2000. How can I be better than you at this. A good dealer would have sent me to Napelton.
