I was refer to Sutton Ford by a good friend who has been doing business with the dealership for years,as a young adult she remember her Dad buying from there and the service that they received she said was doing business with the dealership for years,as a young adult she remember her Dad buying from there and the service that they received she said was incredible. I came there one early morning and i was approach by Andre Green, very well dress young man ,had lots of good information on the car that i was looking for.He spent hours working with me because after he had reviewed other option for me,i realize that what i wanted, was really not what i needed at the time as far as price. He work real hard to get me close to were i wanted to be. This guy had a lot of patience,he was amazing he made me feel different about the way i felt about sales reps only caring about there pockets.The service he gave was awesome from top to bottom, now i see why she sent me there a place that i will do business with again. Beware of extra charges added for items which should be optional. All new cars off the truck have #'s scratched on the windshield for which they try to charge you $400. I had an issue where Sutton Ford fraudulently ran my credit, not once, but twice in two days. I went to the dealership as to inquire why they ran it without my permission. They had stated I applied on line with a 3rd party which they buy leads from. I Informed them I did no such thing, as I am currently applying for a mortgage. FRANK the "sales manger" stood up to me and tried to intimidate me, he stated " that unless I am conducting business, I need to leave." I then informed "I will be contacting the BBB & FTC," he then said "go ahead I don't care" There was no sympathy or accountability. No willingness to look into the issue, and definitely no willingness to resolve it. With that, just imagine if you have an issue with a purchase there. I called and placed a complaint with the Ford corporate offices, and they were more helpful. In short, I guess I was looking for a business to stand up and do the right thing when someone has such an issue, and just remove the inquires from my credit report. If this is the level of service that I received when fraud occured, I can only imagine how they treat their customers. You've been warned, this is not a stand up dealership at all. I had been searching for a car for months after unexpectedly having my car totaled by a drunk driver. Needless to say from the start I was not too happy about needing a new vehicle. After dealing with a number of salesman at a number of dealerships I met Gonzalo Morales. Gonzalo was a nice change to the pushy-ness and slyness I was encountering with other salesmen. When buying a car you want to feel comfortable and come to your decisions on your own and Gonzalo allowed me to do that. We talked more about non-car stuff on the test drive and not once did I feel I was being smothered. Gonzalo was by far the best car salesman I have ever dealt with. Overall my experiences at Sutton Ford were fantastic! They were able to negotiate price and get me into my new used car with an excellent deal. If you are looking to buy a new car and are worried about being bullied or pressured into something you don't want, look no further, Gonzalo Morales at Sutton Ford is the man you need to see! The sales people here are very well trained into using misleading language, they are very proficient in structuring deals to add costs and fees onto your contract that are not necessary, they are very goo misleading language, they are very proficient in structuring deals to add costs and fees onto your contract that are not necessary, they are very good at promising things that can't be delivered. They are very friendly when you walk in the door, but I really should have researched other dealerships before I signed with them. The first time they lied to me I should have left, but I didn't, I trusted what was being told to me and felt like they were giving me a good deal, but absolutely not. Two things to look for in your contract vin etchng (disguised as theft deterrent) and auto butler...which should be 2 optional purchases. (I believe another reviewer mentioned the vin etching as well). All I can say is that I have been very well educated on what to do then next time I purchase a car-and when I do purchase a car it will definitely not be with them. I feel like I am being bullied into doing business with them currently and that is a horrible way to feel when buying a car. More
