I purchased my car on July 20, 2026. I had already paid a $500 deposit, but the full purchase amount was subsequently paid by check, which meant I had overpaid by $500 and was due that amount back. Taj Auto Mall acknowledged that the $500 needed to be refunded. Initially, I was told they would return it to my card. When that did not happen, I was then repeatedly assured that a $500 check would be mailed to me. It has now been more than a month. I have followed up multiple times and have received repeated promises, but I still have not received my $500. I even sent a formal escalation email to the dealership and have received no response to that either. The frustrating part is that this is not a disagreement over the amount or a complicated warranty issue. It is simply money that the dealership acknowledged is due back to me. I gave Taj Auto Mall ample opportunity to resolve this privately before posting this review. After more than a month of chasing a $500 refund and repeatedly being told it would be sent, I feel other customers should know about my experience. Buying a car requires trust, and the way a dealership handles a customer after the sale is just as important as how it treats them while taking their payment. At this point, I cannot recommend Taj Auto Mall based on the way this refund and the subsequent communication have been handled. I will gladly update this review as soon as Taj Auto Mall actually refunds the $500 that is owed to me. More
