This needs to be addressed by upper management, if you could provide me with any more details about your experience and your name I would greatly appreciate it- the only person that would contact you to follow up is Rob Gallik, our General Manager or myself, which ever you prefer. Did you work with Billy Battle both times? The names of anyone else who your worked with would greatly help. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, although we hate that this is your experience to take away from Tameron, we definitely will take this opportunity to fix the issue internally. The first visit was with Brad who is no longer at Tameron but continues to contact us from another dealership. We were within $1300 when we stopped negotiations. Brads final offer was $25,657. With the next 2-3 days we received an email from Gina Schoening, Internet sales, asking why and what happened with the deal. We told her and she stayed in touch with us. Brad continued to contact us and the price went a bit lower. We chose not to answer Brads numerous calls after this. Gina contacted us again a week or so ago (we still have all the emails) and asked for us to come back in. She said they would reevaluate our trade in and that there were many new incentives that would put us at the $24,000 out the door mark. That is the dollar amount we were set on. Billy Battle was extremely helpful and knowledgeable during our appointment; however, when he showed us the numbers, it was shocking to see $28k. We were amazed the price went up nearly $4000 from our original visit. He asked if we had any wiggle room. We came up to $25k and he went and talked to someone and I don't remember this persons name. This person came and talked to us asking us to come up on our offer. We had already come up $2000 and we would not budge from that. We had done our research and knew what the CRV sold for. After telling him our trade in was $1000 higher our previous visit, he agreed to give us the extra $1000 but that WE would have to be more flexible. We had already been quite flexible. He got to within $900 and again told us we had to be flexible. We feel as though we wasted 3 hours. No thank you. Bad business to change the price of the car especially after having been told there were new incentives and then not being offered a single one. We will buy a new car but it will not be from Tameron.
