Oil change/ tire rotation/ multipoint inspection with coupon So I had a coupon for synthetic oil change up to 5 quarts, tire rotation and multipoint inspection for 59.95. Now understanding that I have to pay for So I had a coupon for synthetic oil change up to 5 quarts, tire rotation and multipoint inspection for 59.95. Now understanding that I have to pay for 2 extra quarts I still had to pay 94.05 after they so called used the coupon. In my mind 5 quarts, oil filter, tire rotation, multipoint inspection and labor should all be included in that 59.95 per the coupon. They charged me 8.70 for a filter, 84.00 for 7 quarts, 24.95 for tire rotation, 35.95 for labor and 0.00 for multipoint inspection. I was discounted 22.38 on parts and 22.38 on labor. If you could explain to me how my total can be 94.05 when all I should’ve had to pay was for 2 extra quarts of oil, shop supplies/hazardous waste, disposal fee, tax and labor if so deemed to add extra labor to put the 2 extra quarts of oil in during an already 5 quart oil change. Also I never even received a complimentary car wash unless that courtesy has been done away with. My guess is that my coupon was never scanned and I have screen shots to provide for complete verbiage of what was to be included in this service visit and what I as the customer was to be liable for. Recall work. You worked on my wife’s car and sent it home with us. My son, a new driver, drove it home. The next time my wife went to drive it she was unable to pu You worked on my wife’s car and sent it home with us. My son, a new driver, drove it home. The next time my wife went to drive it she was unable to put the car in “drive” until we wiggled the shifter around. This created a lot of stress for her as she wasn’t sure she’d be able to make it to her long commute that day. Such work suggests to me that the job may not have been thoroughly checked or even tested before it was claimed finished. Are cars test driven or just hurriedly moved from the garage to the parking lot and keys passed back to the desk manager? I sense that many people are moving too quickly these days and not checking their work. At another garage in town (not yours) I found a set of tools laying in my engine days after they worked on it! If you want to be the best customer service garage in town…which I sense you’d like to be, why don’t you implement a program where all vehicles are thoroughly checked before they are passed back to customers...a sort of “systems checked seal of approval” guarantee. That would put you up a leg up on the competition. More
