I had a very disappointing experience with the Toyota dealership on Sawmill Road. The staff I dealt with came across as rude and unwelcoming, and I did not feel like my concern was taken seriously. I dealership on Sawmill Road. The staff I dealt with came across as rude and unwelcoming, and I did not feel like my concern was taken seriously. I brought in my 2024 Toyota Sienna with about 31,000 miles because it is showing a diagnostic trouble code. Since the vehicle is still within Toyota’s 3-year/36,000-mile basic warranty, I asked to have the issue evaluated as a warranty concern. I was told that I would still need to authorize/pay a diagnostic fee, so I declined the diagnosis and left. I understand that a diagnostic fee may be appropriate if a problem ultimately turns out not to be covered by the warranty. However, the way this was communicated left me with very little confidence in the warranty-service experience. For potential Toyota buyers, I recommend asking very clearly before purchasing and before scheduling warranty service how diagnostic charges are handled when you bring in a vehicle that is still under the factory warranty. Don’t assume that seeing “3-year/36,000-mile basic warranty” means there will never be an upfront or potential diagnostic charge. Unfortunately, based on the customer service and communication I received, I would not recommend this dealership. More
Do not bring your vehicle here. This service department is guilty of extreme negligence, misdiagnosis, and a complete lack of communication. My mom and I brought two vehicles in This service department is guilty of extreme negligence, misdiagnosis, and a complete lack of communication. My mom and I brought two vehicles in at 11:00 AM. We called ahead to confirm a safety recall part for her Venza was in stock. Upon arrival, advisor Josh told us the part wasn't there. He tried to brush off a critical safety issue by telling her to "check back in a few months." My 4Runner was brought in for an AC issue. * I waited hours with zero updates. * Josh charged me $150 for an AC dye leak test. * Hours later, he told me the compressor didn't work at all, making the dye test pointless. * He talked down to me when I questioned this logic. * He told me my serpentine belt was worn and needed replacement. * Ten minutes before closing, they admitted they didn't even have the belt in stock and put the old one back on. I paid $300 for a completely wrong diagnosis. My independent mechanic proved the compressor works perfectly just by jumping the fuse. Furthermore, my mechanic found an entire front CV boot missing with visible rust. The dealership completely missed this despite me explicitly paying for a front suspension inspection. To make matters worse, a passenger-side wheel hub stud snapped off the very next day. They denied removing the wheel, even though passenger wheel removal is required to access the 4Runner compressor on a lift. I have been completely ghosted. I left a message for General Manager Mark. No response. I called the service department three times. Blown off. I opened a case with Toyota Corporate. Silence for 5 days. They took my money, failed to inspect basic safety components, misdiagnosed my vehicle, and refuse to answer the phone. Avoid this place at all costs. More

I bought my Toyota certified used at Tansky with about 35,000 miles on it. I went in for an oil change (over 40k at this point and maybe the 3rd time we'd been in since purchase) and without looking at t 35,000 miles on it. I went in for an oil change (over 40k at this point and maybe the 3rd time we'd been in since purchase) and without looking at the car they said I needed a required service that they said was supposed to have been done at 30k I pointed out the situation to the service guy and he said that they didn't have a record of it being done. $200+ more dollars. So certified used must not mean that service is up to date. And it seems they don't offer car washes (or Tansky bars) like they used to either. Very disappointing. More
