We had a fantastic experience at Tarrytown Honda. Our first contact was with Alana in Internet Sales. She was prompt, polite, and no nonsense in answering our questions. From our first walk through to just look and see up through and including taking delivery of the car, he was a gentleman, supportive and gracious, considerate and straightforward. In fact, he came in on his day off to ensure our delivery was smooth. I am of a mind that car-buying does NOT have to be a painful, cut-throat, sneaky, smarmy experience. In theory, a positive and straightforward experience should serve to ensure long-term business for the dealership as opposed to one big sale where someone was ripped off. That being said, I have never actually had a positive car buying experience. Until now. From Alana to John to Michael, we were treated with respect despite less-than-ideal buyer characteristics (negative equity trade-in, for instance.) For once, I did not feel swindled or managed or handled or burdensome. I would HIGHLY recommend this dealership and, in particular, John Nicholson as a salesperson. More

After we made our purchase we had a couple of small issues. When the certified sales manager, Eddie heard of our displeasure he eagerly went above and beyond to take care of the situation. So far we are happy with our purchase and are very appreciative of Tarrytown Honda making the extra effort to make us happy. Many other dealerships would not care to make this effort after the sale is complete. I would definitely recommend this dealership. More
We worked with the 4 people mentioned above - the general manager, Chris, Bill O'Reilley, Erik the Finance manager and Darren M, the sales member - to get my sister a new CRV. They were excellent, knew exactly what they were talking about and found the best possible deal that would fit my sister's budget and went out of their way to make her happy with her purchase. We've been some 28 year customers at this Honda and since the new comers took over, I trust these 4 men totally and wouldn't go to anyone else anymore. However, I haven't met them personally, but whilst waiting for my car service I've seen some employees who were very uncourteous to customers - this could be worked on some more. Otherwise, it has improved since 2 years ago when I couldn't even get through even to the internet people to purchase a new car as I never got a return call. For myself I feel that the Service Center requires a bit more work, courtesy and honesty, thoroughness, and not make one come in when it's not necessary. More

I asked to compare prices on a new leased car, and I was given sufficient information to make my decision, ultimately resulting in a sale. Richard was extremely thorough answering all of my questions right through to orienting me on how to use the new car, as I changed models from my previous car. He was patient and very courteous. I had been to this dealership in the past and found it to be very unfriendly. Today I experienced a totally different culture with the the two gentlemen I dealt with, Jordan and Richard, and I will highly recommend the dealership to friends and family. John Nicholson was very friendly. We aknowledge that he was newly hired as a salesman but he was very friendly to accomodate me, my husband and our two young children through the process of buying our firs was newly hired as a salesman but he was very friendly to accomodate me, my husband and our two young children through the process of buying our first used minivan. He was very diligent with following up with us with documents needed to complete the process. He also called several times to make sure that we made it safely home and we were pleased with our purchase. He kept in touch when the DMV needed additional documents. We were both going through for the first time through a new experience (out of state sale/ first used minivan purchase). John was very patient and understanding of our family needs. He was eager to find answers to our questions and concerns. I would have liked to chose the length of the financing. Ed Nunez, the business manager, automatically gave us the longer term without asking if we were all right with it. The experience was very positive overall. More
Brought minivan in for routine service. When I went out to the lot to get the minivan, there was a hugh dent and a cracked windsheild. When confronted about the damage, I get the run around about a manage to the lot to get the minivan, there was a hugh dent and a cracked windsheild. When confronted about the damage, I get the run around about a manager will call. After two days and repeated calls, they basically told me to f off. I guess they can afford to lose one cistomer. I recommend you find another dealer for you services. More

We agreed on a price via e-mail, which eliminated the uncomfortable and time consuming haggling that typically occurs. Went into the dealership, filled out the paperwork and was on my way as soon as they were able to prep the car (the initial delivery checklist).
