Offered them asking price on a 2017 Ford Escape and had financing arranged before we arrived. Told salesman we were coming to buy this car 3 days before from 110 miles away. After test drive we noticed poo financing arranged before we arrived. Told salesman we were coming to buy this car 3 days before from 110 miles away. After test drive we noticed poorly repaired body damage to front left quarter panel, not mentioned in Carfax report. Dealer claimed the put on new tires, breaks and rotors, on a car with 18k miles, that they wanted us to pay for as some kind of preparation fee. These repairs also were not mentioned in the Carfax report. They would not even discuss our pre arranged financing, through Capital One, the insisted they could get us a better interest rate, for only $40 more a month after all the fluff they added. The next day they lowered the price by $1,000 after refusing our offer for full asking price, maybe because my wife is Asian? More
