Fiasco What started out as a pleasant experience turned sour when I was promised X dollars for a trade-in but when I reviewed the statement at home it showed What started out as a pleasant experience turned sour when I was promised X dollars for a trade-in but when I reviewed the statement at home it showed $500 less. When I phoned the salesman, he and his finance officer, although agreeing that I had indeed been offered $500 more, insisted it was better tax wise to take the $500 less. Neither offered to remedy the situation or to show me in writing how getting $500 less is a plus! This was a ripoff in my estimation. More
