Recall fix They normally do great work. But this time I had to wait almost 3 days to get my car back. Apparently they didn’t receive the right parts from Chevy They normally do great work. All I kept hearing was they didn’t start on my car and that I would get it soon. It was not until my dad called that we got an answer. They did a nice job fixing my car but they need to work on communication. More

Drive line issues We have serviced 2 work vehicles at Bill Stasek every year for many years now, always at beginning of season they inspect our trucks for any and all p We have serviced 2 work vehicles at Bill Stasek every year for many years now, always at beginning of season they inspect our trucks for any and all problems. Last year they were supposed to rotate tires and inspect brakes as always, when I come to switch vehicles they forgot to do that. 4 years ago our transmission went out besicly trans separated from engine, it happened on south side of Chicago and towing company took it to closest trans place, 2 years later trans started separating again and we took it to Bill Stasek to see whate is causing it, they couldn’t identify the problem year later trans deprecated again and we took it to Alpha Trans next door and they replaced the flywheel and replaced broken studs on housing. Last week on Tuesday our trans started separating again so we took it to Bill Stasek to see if they can diagnose the issue and fix it for good, after 4 day no phone call to inform me on status of our work truck I called them to see what’s going on, service writer told me they can’t get parts for this truck anymore and that they don’t won’t to work on it any more, I was shocked. Now I took it to a illinois truck repairs in Elk Grove Village and first think they did was to check for recalls and bulletins and there was a bulletin years ago on drive line stating they there is faulty part and it causes transmission vibrations and ultimately separates trans from engine. Every year for years they were suposed to make a full vehicle inspection and make any necessary repairs, they never check any recalls or bulletins, they could have save us thousands of dollars in labor and 2 transmissions. Now they say we can’t work on it because we can’t get parts for it anymore but they took my $150 just to let me know that, yet other company has no problem ordering parts and now they have our business. Customers first The staff is very attentive and pleasant. Tire machine broke so they gave me a loaner to go home and come back next day. I purchased my Equinox here and in April a new rear tire, as well. Normally there’s a charge for tire repair but they were nice enough to comp it for me. Management might want to rethink they’re policy because there is no incentive for a person to purchase one or two tires from you without free flat repair. More
