I had one of the worst service experiences I have in years at Taylor Hyundai of Perrysburg when I took my Sonata in for recall remediation. First, the service department rarely answers the phone, in years at Taylor Hyundai of Perrysburg when I took my Sonata in for recall remediation. First, the service department rarely answers the phone, in fact I had to email them to setup on appointment, I couldn’t seem to do that by calling them. Second, during the recall work they damaged the brake light switch causing the brake lights to be on continuously which damaged my battery, they replaced the damaged switch at no charge but not the battery which I felt was wrong considering my battery was fine when I dropped the car off for service. When they finally pulled my car around for pickup it was the wrong car ! When they found my car they couldn’t find the keys. If my Hyundai broke down Taylor Hyundai of Perrysburg’s parking lot I would think seriously of towing it somewhere else. More

Called from Cincinnati and found the car I wanted, made a deal and put $1000.00 down. Drove up the next day to sign final papers and pick up my car. When I got there they decided to add an extra $3600.00 abo deal and put $1000.00 down. Drove up the next day to sign final papers and pick up my car. When I got there they decided to add an extra $3600.00 above cost because they decided cars are hard to get. No less than 3 dealership representatives acknowledged that I was mislead but said they decided they could sell the car for more than my locked (non refundable down payment) negotiated deal. After 2 full hours they did agree to refund the nonrefundable since they decided not to honor their deal. I would never trust their word or do business with these kind of people. They also pointed out that since i live out of town they could never make any money off me with oil changes and services. So makes me wonder what kind of charges they get from services that they could recoup $3600.00 in fees on a new car charges. It should be warranty. My advice is beware! More
