I was very impressed with Lawrence Toyota. We bought 2 2010 Toyota Corolla's in the past 3 days, 2 certified Totoya Corolla's in 2004 and a new 1988 Toyota Tercel in 1987. The service department is also 2010 Toyota Corolla's in the past 3 days, 2 certified Totoya Corolla's in 2004 and a new 1988 Toyota Tercel in 1987. The service department is also very good. Chris Gale has serviced our cars for awhile and I am very impressed with his knowledge and customer service skills. More

Great Dealership. Bill was great to deal with in the purchase of our new car. We got an excellent price for our new vehicle and a fair trade in allowance for our old Toyota. He was extremely patient in purchase of our new car. We got an excellent price for our new vehicle and a fair trade in allowance for our old Toyota. I got my first two Siennas from another dealer. This time I decided to visit this Toyota dealer. I am glad I did. I met knowledgable/nice people who all worked on helping me getting the best deal. Took my car in for warranty service and told them when I made the appointment that I would be waiting. When I arrived they told me that the car was going to take all day and I should not wait. As a result made the appointment that I would be waiting. When I arrived they told me that the car was going to take all day and I should not wait. As a result they rescheduled my appointment for the next day. I dropped the car off at 8 AM and they called me at 9:15AM and told me it was done. They advised me that there was not an issue and they did not see a problem. I asked to see the service manage (Shawn) and he would not agree or disagree. He got a not car out of stock and the car had the same problem. He advised me that he would contact Toyota and get an answer - this was back in August and we are in December and I did not get an answer. I will not use this dealer ever again for service, sales, or parts. Take the extra ride to James Toyota in Flemington, NJ. James Toyota corrected the problem the FIRST TIME. In addition, I got a remote stater installed for $199 an Lawrence Toyota wanted $399 plus labor for the same job. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! More
First this dealer is a joke. They are over priced and greedy fore more and more money. They TREAT CUSTOMERS and EMPLOYEES LIKE GARBAGE! The service writers give the tecs no say in any thing and they scre greedy fore more and more money. They TREAT CUSTOMERS and EMPLOYEES LIKE GARBAGE! The service writers give the tecs no say in any thing and they scream at them for bogus reasons. I was in for a service and the service writer woman vishala kept hassling the expresslube man about some thing that even i could tell wasnt some thing he did. The poor guy didnt know what to do because vashala didnt give him a chance to tell his story. She acted like she knew more about him than he did. The service is ok but its not the greatest. Like the other reviews said they will tell you any thing to sell you things. I replaced my wipers a week before with high quality michelin ones and vishala and the tec james said that i need new ones because "there not toyota blades". After that visala acted very mean because i said no i dont want them i just want an oil change. I told the manager Shawn Warner and he was an idiot. He tried to do the same thing and tell me what ever i want to hear. That guy is a xxxxxxx stay away from him. The only good thing is they get your car in and done in a reasonable amount of time. The next time i needed service i went to liberty toyota and a the people are 100x better than the lawrence people. I gave this dealer a very negative review because that is a refelection on my experience with them. Next time your toyota sets serviced bring it any where else but lawrence toyota. More

Im a state employee...my fiance and i travelled to this dealership from garfield nj (1 hour and 20 mins away). We got a 06 camry....we were way over charged...no discount given actually even though i was dealership from garfield nj (1 hour and 20 mins away). We got a 06 camry....we were way over charged...no discount given actually even though i was entitled to it. THe car has mechanical issues that weve already taken it back for. They claim there isnt anything wrong with it....adjusted calipers and sent us on our way its still making noise and nothing is fixed....now the temp gaudge is pinned at hot...the paperwork is done totally illegal. In NJ the same person who insures a car and registers it has to own the car...dealership do creative financing i know that but it still has to be done legally correct. We have gotten nothing but the run around....they say anything to just push you off and passify you. They have produced a bunch of papers to try and shut our insurance company up...but none of it is legally correct......and lawrence toyota seems not to care at all. They just keep saying "well in our eyes its ok the way it is, its perfectly legal"...and well in my eyes lawrence toyota really sucks at doing right by a customer...they blind you with niceness and then fast talk to you through everything and then blind you with some more niceness and send you on your way with a crappy car and then ignore every attempt u make at fixing the situation......my advice is stay clear!! My fiance is a state employee. They offer a "discount" through he job. We traded a 07 civic for a 06 camry and got no discount at all we are acually paying 20 thousand for it. It came with opperational is through he job. We traded a 07 civic for a 06 camry and got no discount at all we are acually paying 20 thousand for it. It came with opperational issues and the finance paper work was half in her name half in mine. Since in the state of nj it is illeagal to insure a car in someone elses name I was suppose to be the buyer since I'm the insurer. Multiple times we demanded it get fixed. They "couldn't " find a issue on car and they gave us a photo copy of a title with my name only on it. My insurance wants to drop my policy because they can't do the paper work correctly and leagaly. I give lawrence toyota a zero rate for false advertisment, mechanical malfunctions unprevented and illeagal papperwork. I understand why dealers use creative financing. Does not make it leagal and when you stamp the state of nj discount on a bate and switch it has gone to a whole new level of false advertising. Shane and danielle in garfield nj.
