This was my 1st visit to Ted Britt Chevrolet in Sterling since they took over from Sterling Chevrolet. My experience was disappointing. I came in for a Oil Change and noise I was hearing when my AC was on since they took over from Sterling Chevrolet. My experience was disappointing. I came in for a Oil Change and noise I was hearing when my AC was on. I came in on July 16 around 8:30am, and spoke with the service rep. She was polite and professional. The problem was while my Oil Change was done, my other issue with my AC was ignored and not even checked.. (i feel). I was told that the tech saw or heard no issues. But as soon as I left the dealership, I heard the noise again, and my truck was running worst after that 21 point check. I called Amanda and informed her I'm still having issues with my AC, and I'm hearing the noise again from my AC compressor as soon I left the dealership. My truck was also running worst then when I brought it in. She told me to bring it back in. I dropped my Truck off the next morning and it was there all day but wasn't checked out. I got a call at 3pm from Amanda that they faxed the info for repairs to my warranty company for review and it was probably too late for approval for today (Wed). I called my warranty company for a followup the next morning (Thursday) and they said they didn't received the fax from Ted Britt. I call and informed Admanda the Warranty company never got the fax for the work that needed done, and she faxed the paper work over. Short story the work was finally completed on the 3rd day, when it should've been done on the 1st day of my visit. I felt that on the 1st day my truck wasn't even checked for what I complained about. The 2nd day after dropping my vehicle early Weds morning, it was pushed back and not looked at. The 3rd day (Thurs) at the dealership, my truck was finally looked at and fixed. Another issue is that srcatches were found on my dashboard after the work was completed that wasn't there before I dropped it off. No I did not inform my service rep about the scratches on my dash. After my other experience at this dealership it would've been ignored or denied. I know this issue could've been handled allot better then they were, and I'm very disappointed with this Dealership. More
Love, Love Ronald. He was wonderful. Not thrilled about the prices for labor from a dealership. It costs a LOT less on labor for car shops that are not dealerships. They were ready to start work on my car as soon as I arrived at 9:00am. I was met by courteous people. The work was done in less time than estimated. Mr. Ronald Martin has great " people skills" and arrived at 9:00am. I was met by courteous people. The work was done in less time than estimated. Monday morning - service light came on when I started my Volt. Went directly to the dealer without an appointment. Mandy scheduled my service and arranged a rental for me on the spot. It is extremely refreshing to finally have a dealership I know I can go to and not feel "scammed" as I do at some other Chevy dealerships in the area. My experience with Service Advisor, Chris Thomas, was a know I can go to and not feel "scammed" as I do at some other Chevy dealerships in the area. My experience with Service Advisor, Chris Thomas, was above and beyond Customer Service wise and this review is long overdue. I bought my Chevy Cobalt in June of 2008, back when it was still Sterling Chevrolet. Over the years, I have come in for a few oil changes, some emissions tests when needed for new plates, safety inspections - you know, the normal vehicle maintenance. I've been fortunate to have had Chris help me on occasion when bringing my car in and he is always friendly, no matter the day or reason I'm in. As a young woman, to finally feel that I'm not being taken advantage of with things my car "needs" or scared into getting certain things done on my car like Koons has done to me many of times, is a breath of fresh air. Chris shares things with me in terms of "If it were my car, this is what I would do/recommend" which I appreciate. My last visit back in April (I told you this was overdue, sorry Chris!), I was even taken back to see my car up in the garage and explained what 'so and so' was/meant by the great Service Tech, John Harris. Never in my life have I had a dealership or technician ever take the time to go above and beyond like that so I could actually see what they were talking to me about. It sure puts the confidence in me that Ted Britt Chevy is the place I want to take my car to time and time again. Thank you, Ted Britt Chevy for your honest, friendly employees who make it a breeze to bring in my car. I no longer dread having to "drop off my car" because it's a great environment you have within your dealership and outstanding employees. Having worked a management/Customer Service job before myself, I must say you sure do have all the right key components in your business that will bring your customers back time and time again for a job well done. Please make sure to thank Chris Thomas & John Harris for all they do for your customers! More
